This my current setup. But i will redo them after i build the terrarium for the monitors
😃 This looks awesome. Would love to see some Close-up Pictures. I wish I could make a more naturalistic Setup with more Space for my Cockatiels but like with everything I want to do in Real Life, way too little Space and Not enough Money stands my Plans in the Way😕

Sir, you have made DarthQuell a very jealous man. You are living my dream
All you need is money and way to much time to build enclosures :D
Im gonna feel really bad tearing the backgrounds out, but i know its for the better.
The top left one is where my leopard gecko lives, it was the first enclosure ive build and it doesnt look that great, also the backwall is pretty flat so he cant really use it for climbing that well.
The top right houses my knobtailes, but i originally build it as a grow out enclosure for my skink. I want to build a new backgroung with integrated egg laying boxes that can be taken out. Since i hope to get some eggs from them this year i will probably do that one first, gonna be real hard finding those little treasures in the current setup.
The big one is for my blue tongue skink and im still debating on redoing it or not. I would really like some planting pots high up put of her reach, these guys are bulldozers and the plants are not having the best of time being planted in the ground :D

Yeah pets get expensive real quick :D
The monitors are around 1500€ and the enclosure with the heating, lighting and interior will probably be another 500€ :O

Yeah. My issue isn't really time to build them or money to set them up (because I know places where I can get the things I need cheap), but it's space to have tanks. I don't currently have a table or shelf to hold these tanks, so I'm spending more time looking for suitable furniture that withstand the weight but also that can fit in my house, specifically in the den where my desk is

Isn't really about Pets being expensive (I'm afraid of the Possibility of my Birds getting sick though) but about the Fact that absolutely no one hires me. I hate that Stuff. Already gave up all Hope Years ago. Can't even repair my PC which is already broken since approximately 2 Years😑

I use a industrial rack, those heavy load metal ones. Its black so its not an absolute eyesore and each shelf can hold like 600Kg. Can definetly recommend those for terrariums!

Yeah vets are crazy expensive. Man that sounds rough, hopefully there are better times ahead!

Hey man, I feel you. I applied to many places 2 years ago. Nada.
But, how about this: window cleaning. All you need is a bucket of water, dish soap, a mop, and a squeegee. Offer some places to clean their windows. $10-$15 a storefront. Seems low, but it adds up.
Of course, I don't know how Germany is, so it may be different

Wouldn't work. Everyone seems to already have someone to clean and also to do Garden Stuff (even though I don't believe the Church because that Lawn looks like ****. How does the Lie they told me once even make any Sense? Who would travel 50km each Time just to clean in there and care for the Plants?🤦🏻‍♂️)
Shouldn't write about that Topic anymore in this Thread before it becomes too much. Also my Mood is really bad already anyways because suddenly I thought about that Stuff again

Here are my critters:
  • 1 female Cat named Ilaria
  • 1 male (we think) Green Cheek Conure name Happy
  • 5 Peafowl: Hens: May, Zucchini, Emerald. Roosters: Doug, Atlas. Emerald is in her 20's and has gone through "Henopause" so has grown male plumage. I've had her since she was 3.
  • 19 Old English Game Bantam Chickens: Hens: Opal, Rose, Banana, Anti, Freckles, Sugar, Checkers, Royal, Bean, Quartz, Lacy, Lilly, Pewter. Roosters: Speckles, Tiny, Pickle, Blue, Polo, Forest
  • 4 Mixed Breed Bantams: Hens: Tika, Kitty, & Quail Rooster: Mello

😃 This sounds awesome. I would love to see some Pictures.
Regarding the Conure: at least the Gender of Cockatiels can be determined by observing the Behavior so maybe it works for those too. Also as I've mentioned a few Times in this Thread: most Bird Species need a Partner.
The Gender can also be determined by a DNA Test which at least where I live isn't very expensive

I think if Happy was female she would have laid an egg by now with all the activities he does lol He's a naughty bird. I'll find some pictures to share shortly :)

Not necessarily. My Cockatiels also tried to reproduce multiple Times and there weren't any Eggs so far and I'm pretty sure that my Lutino is really a female and with my wild colored one it's pretty obvious that he's male. I've also tried to prevent breeding as good as I could because I don't have much Space and as another Owner told me, it isn't a good Idea because there are already so many Cockatiels that need a Home

In that case might be a she then alway backing her butt up against her toys lol In the past all my girl birds had laid eggs at some point. I've had him/her for 8 years. Doens't matter to me what they are I love them anyway.

Anyways here are some photos (I can only attach ten apparently)

These were my dogos who sadly passed last year with in a short span of each other. Molly (Golden Retriever) was almost 15 and Oliver (Chihuahua) was a little over 10.
I hadn't mentioned them in my first post as they aren't with me but had to share their cuteness when I can across their picture in my photos. Oliver always used Molly as a bed despite them having two.

🥰 The first two Pictures are especially adorable. But the others too of course.
Interesting Wing Pose on the second Chicken Picture. Somehow reminds me of that one Time I accidentally gave my male Cockatiel a High Five 🤭

Got a plesant surprise today :)
Found these two little treasures while cleaning the Terrariums. These are from my pair of smooth knobtail geckos (Nephurus levis), super exciting. Although the lower one looks suspiciously infertile :(
Second picture shows the proud dad being hecking adorable

These are my family dogs, Greta (left, 15 years old in November) and Lamont (right, 12 years old). They are both shih tzu mixes, Greta half Maltese and Lamont half poodle. Absolutely bonded to each other, and thriving at their old ages (though Greta has low energy). These two dogs have my HEART
