Finally some clear thinking about the main problems preventing a (NASA) manned mars mission.
(apart from the strange refusal to use nuclear propulsion, which is another topic)
I have been thinking along these lines for a while and have been frustrated that nobody in the business seemed to be on the same wavelength - the elephant-in-the-room psychological problems affecting the culture around space exploration within NASA that are illogical and unreasonable need to be addressed so we can address the actual engineering and safety, and funding problems.
