Sorry to bother you @sallymorganmoore with small bug. But the DBX and the Mamba still have landing gears clipping issues since months now. And for the Mamba this causes sometimes hull damages. Is that possible to inform the team to solve that once in for all ? Please.

It will all settle down soon, folks - this is early days yet. Every upgrade has teething problems, which are soon sorted out. Also remember the server load will be very high at the moment as Commanders try to download new Launchers, run upgrades and whatnot. That's never going to make for a good time!

Really good that you are keeping us in the loop, Sally. I would think that tempers would flare a lot more without your invaluable input

I was stationed on the planet in the first Tanaris system.

I took off to Maelstrom. And I died in the Maelstrom. xD

My FC was in the system. The repurchase screen came up but before I could get to my FC I got a "black screen error".

I've had this cycle a few times hoping to re-enter the game. Main Menu >>> Open Play >>> Black Screen >>> Crash Report >>> alt+F4

Then I saw this message and tried this: Main Menu > Help and Info > Stuck Recovery

I'm in the game right now.

EDİT: using this menu put me in a weird place and not the first tanaris system. Maybe hundreds of FC jumps at the same time and warning comes. Moreover, my FC is here. But I did not give such an order. Strangely enough, we were teleported to a completely different system.

Edit: Worked around using the Stuck Recovery feature (Main Menu > Help and Info > Stuck Recovery).

Is there any particular reason @sallymorganmoore that My fleet carrier has gone rouge and is now jumping around randomly on its own in 50ly jumps? its on its 5th jump and will not stay put.

I cannot remember what system I was in but I was at an outpost and any system I tried to plot too it would just hang on the bit where you go to select a destination if that helps. Locally I could plot fine. Ended up getting a friend to collect me in his ship as there was no ship yard to recall me ship.

Why have the graphics gone from clear and crisp in 3.8 to watery and quite bad in this installation? Do I need to change something? It's really off-putting, the reason why I don't bother with Odessey.

Turn off upscaling if it's on.

Something very odd seems to be going on with jump ranges. On the plus side, my 80 LY range DBX now uses next to no fuel jumping. It only seems to draw fuel from the "out of supercruise" tank.

On the very much negative side it only seems capable of jumping around 12 LY now. It's going to be a long trek back from the Kingfisher wreck....

EDIT: Or maybe the route planner is borked. It is suggesting 0.86 LY jumps along the route.

Hello! So yes! We're in the process of moving some Fleet Carriers manually to free up congestion which was having a hefty impact on server load.
Sorry for this quirky approach! All should steady out shortly o7

Both Steam and Epic version of the game downloaded just fine, both have the updated launcher

My FDev account (console migrated account) launcher prompted me to download the newer version, which i did.
Prompted me to login after launching, upgrading took some time (15 minutes or so) but eventually finished.

So, launcher and patching wise, all 3 seem fine (Steam, Epic, Fdev)
Wont try to play tonight tho

I'm not able to jump my carrier to a specific body in a system any more, only to the system selected from the galaxy map.
It's unclear if this is intentional or a bug. I don't see many of any carrier jump changes in the release notes, so possibly a bug or an issue with the server.

I seem to be having trouble navigating galaxy + system maps using a controller. It seems to keep getting into a state where the widgets lose focus and input goes to the void. I can recover by using a mouse, but this is not preferred.

After having issues earlier with the launcher I downloaded directly from my account and it installed and upgraded but I'm seeing no mention of Live or Legacy modes in the launcher. Is this correct?
