Items not transferring from ship storage to backpack? Supposedly fixed?

I think the issue is more you shouldn't be able to transfer items while docked at a space station or planetary port.

The flaw is that it shows you the menu to do it.

I didn't even know the option even existed, as i always transfer into my backpack after i exit at planetary settlements.

Agreed, that is definitely another way to look at it. Although you can't transfer to your backpack after disembarking in a station. Either way, there is a bug that shouldn't be there.

I only found it because I seemed to have another, albeit temporary, bug, where I was unable to sell my items from my ship to the bartender. I presumed that I had to have them in my backpack to sell them to the bartender which is when I went back to my ship and found that you can't do that.

It's a bug because it was clearly meant to work. They have the option to transfer items from your ship to your backpack and it does not work. That is a bug.

It was something that worked in beta. You could even do weird stuff like take the "stolen" tag of things by doing that iirc. Not long after it stopped working.

I just tried again in Firefox. Still getting the exact same message. How much later do I need to try again?

@sallymorganmoore Can you see if someone will take a look at this? How are Frontier going to resolve any of the issues with the game if we are unable to report them? I've been trying for 3 days to report issues, with 3 different browsers and I still can't submit a report.

That's fine if you got the items to sell to a bartender. I got the item as part of a mission, which I now cannot complete. Same issue as the OP... I transfer them while in the ship, but as soon as I disembark and check my backpack, they're not there.

I had a larceny mission to retrieve some hush. I have 5 cannisters of hush in my ship storage (which I got from the mission destination), but the mission will not complete.

Is this because I didn't get the right cannister?

Yah, you gotta loot the right one. It's not marked, but the mission will update when you loot that one.

This is exactly the same issue I am having except I'm trying to upgrade a piece of armour - the items are in storage and cannot transfer them to backpack - how are we supposed to do this?

Game is becoming increasingly frustrating to play - spending more time hunting down how to do something than actually playing the game....

For upgrading a suit you don't need to actually transfer stuff to your backpack. It'll automatically take it from your storage. So just go there and do the upgrade.

oh, i'll see myself out - i never upgraded a G1 suit :)
you know you can buy G2 or G3 suits? do you?


(anyway - try to change suits, buy another one, relog - the message with that suit of yours - that you cannot sell suit, is weird)
