There's plenty of reviewed research clearly showing that, beyond a certain size of team, adding more workers will slow and hamper progress. As an analogy think of a machine where you add more and more interconnected cogs. Friction increases and things slow down, whilst hot air output increases.

Aka the 'nine women can't have a baby in a month' syndrome.

And apparently ship balance is once again under question

Fret not. It will be nerfed post sale and the salt will flow.

Speaking the truth.

"Crime and Punishment". Right. Before investing time into "punishments" game designers are better advised to create entertaining game loops. Undesired behaviour is best made entirely impossible. But when you make the everything for everyone game - it just doesn't work out. PvE and PvP don't mix.

So the last "Interior design" vid is basically "hang on to your panties and your wallets, as though we're struggling to finish anything currently in game we're making sure to add more and remake all multiple times for the decades to come. Yeah we'll probably need more money than we currently had and burn, but fret not, you'll have more thing to buy and dream of, citizen!"
