I've heard it. They're scum.
Yup. I'll even skip the opportunity to post an "Actually it's about..." meme due to the heated topic. But please do not mention GG people. It's just bad taste.

The Space Engine developer even wants to create a game out of it, where you can fly, construct, etc. But without the funding, its a very slow process. If you look at their forum, you can see the FAQ and TODO list.

There have aswell a concept for their mothership. Actually they try to stay extremly close to real life physics.

But i think further discussion should go into an own thread for Space Engine.
I'm a convinced atheist and I've had to reach the conclusion that ChristCenteredGamer is by far one of the most objective review sites out there, so... :S
Haha do you think someone recommended sending out bad news to die on a friday, unaware of the way the games news cycle works?
Angry Internet posters are out there. They can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever.

It's not a game.
Have you played the game?
It's a space sim that works offline.
Didn't you promise to leave this thread a while back?
You contacted FD first though right? Because that's the first thing PayPal will do.
"Bargained with"
What to accept that its ok that people who paid hundreds for the game will not be able to play it.
I fear it is too late, the damage is done, ED will be lucky to survive this one
but they do not abide by uk laws when selling, they have to abide to the customer's country, wich in my case is italy.
and here rules are pretty clear
I was kinda like that on Friday. Mainly just chipping in every now and then like I am now. But I was just interested in how it was going.
5am roughly was the time I went to bed...on Saturday morning.

The majority of players\customers\backers are unaffected by the news.

Just to echo this, I've "played" SE quite a bit across its various incarnations, and while development is glacial (one man team!) it is an absolutely incredible achievement. The planetary details are incredible, and it's truly a whole universe simulator. If there's any game dev I wish I could give a million dollars to, it's that guy. I urge everyone to download it and try it out, it's like 100 megs. Something to do on launch day if launch day is anything like any other where the internet is concerned.![]()
The "journalists" that promote games according to nepotism and personal relationships instead of objective reasons?
Yes, they are.

P.S.: A pitty but after having not played since the late 80s I immediately have fallen in love with this titel again - but without offline mode ist useless to me.
