Discovered secret message on the audio of a Guardian beacon!

Doesn't sound like anything to me, I wonder if it'd be possible to develop an app that takes two audio files, an audio with constant noise and a speech sample of similar length and applies some basic filters like that in a certain sequence to produce a file that could most be mistaken for the speech in the second audio.

I remember having something like that for numerology to troll people by claiming they are 666 supersatans, with proof!

I would love this to be true, and we know that FDev do like to include puzzles and such in the game. However I hear nothing in this file that is recognizable as speech to me and I also have some experience in sound treatment. I feel that if FDev were to do something like this they would make it so that after what ever treatment was applied it would be much clearer and recognizable to anyone who heard it. We are creatures of pattern recognition and our brains do try to make some sense of things we see and hear but it doesn't mean that our brains always get it right
This is true though adding more layers of tin foil on top, there are the 'clues' that were featured in the live-streams by the lead designer a couple of times. Both were interpreted to indicate that Guardians were an area of investigation not to be overlooked. I can't say anything about the veracity of that, but it's obviously true that the Thargoids and Guardians go way back, so it would make sense to see if anything can be gleaned from them. This audio find is interesting to me on the basis of that alone.

There were people who swore that playing certain rock music backwards played satanic messages, we imagine a lot into things because we are humans, I certainly couldn't make out anything as described and it's likely all wishful thinking.
Play the beginning of Judas Kiss by Petra backwards. There is often truth in rumors (though this song takes a different twist).

As for the OP's claim, I'll allow more "interested" experts than I to prove or debunk his claims.

I just listened to the latest one multiple times while looking at the image with the dialogue and I'm sorry to say but all I can hear is a heavily filtered, compressed repeating sound that to my ears sounds pretty much identical each repeat with some variation introduced by the warble and remaining frequency artifacts. I'm sorry mate, I could be wrong but I really think if they had put a message in there it would have been much clearer after the processing you've done.
Please check out this 2 files, its the same Voice! (even if you cant make out the words it dosent mater, but its someting there, that what im trying to say.)
1 file is the original recording from a Unregistered Comms Beacon
2 file is the same but with the agrassive filters aplied (to be similar to the agrassive filter file)

Those audio files contain NATO phonetic alphabet words... "Sierra, Kilo, November, India."

(For the record I'm in the can't hear anything in OP group)

And my response to that would be... how is this even remotely a reasonable use of financial resources and human capital?
Comon Shabine, we know the game have issues... but discusing human resources and team bugets here wont do any good... and in every company there are teams that work better than others... (not that the other teams dont works as well but they might be overloaded... i think thats a hole other topic) ;)

What do you mean by "this", though?

The Guardian beacons are in-game. That was a pretty key point of the 2.2 Horizons expansion.
Like most things in-game, the Guardian beacons have associated sound effects.
Paying the sound team to create a sound effect for an in-game object seems an entirely reasonable thing to do.

And, they're a sound team. Making sound effects for fictional objects by combining real sounds in weird ways (backwards, upside down, sped up, slowed down, etc) is what they do.

The message you are claiming is there doesn't even make sense. At all. That to me is the biggest indicator that it isn't really there. When FD do put things like this in the game (which they certainly have in the past), they make sense once decoded.
are you shure the message dosen't make sence?
we dont know when this sound was incerted on the ambient sound, we only found it now..
but look were the storyline is taking us.? this just came out...
(i canot say its related, but it is wierd)

you might also have missed that the audio team works on all titles and rotates around the projects. At this point, you're basically smart bottoming for the lolz, it seems.

I mean, you're all correct. False equivalence. I know. I know. I'm just grumpy because I'm digging deeper into the anarchy system/bounty fiasco, and it's encouraging my anti-Frontier bias to do flips and cartwheels today.

If this somehow turns out to be real, my immediate question would be "How much time and effort did they put into this instead of, you know... fixing der problems mit das game!"
In rare defense of Frontier, a sound engineer can't do much to fix the problems Elite has. He might as well do something fun in his spare time 🤷‍♂️

edit - looks like I was ninja'd by 1000 people, LOL

I know, I addressed this. I'm in full "Game good, Frontier garbage" mode today.
Well that puts you ahead of me, as I've been in "Game bad, Frontier bad" mode for months now 😜

Still, I'll defend them when logic wills it, as one can see from my lengthy contribution to the 3rd party debate a couple days ago.

No, that's your fantasy world, the real world doesn't work like that, if you really believe you can fly and jump off a tall building you will die, because gravity isn't a matter of belief. Yes, mentally ill people have done exactly that, and no it doesn't work. You can believe all you like, but if you want people to accept you are right you need what we call "evidence."
lol I really don't care if people think I am right, cause I didn't provided any theory.like I said..I don't need to convince people...people are free to believe in the reality people want to believe in...idc#

whoever thinks I provided a theory on this is making this up from the own fantasy.
I suggest you stop projecting ,stop telling people what people can and what people can't from your opinion and rather care about what you can do.
but you don't have to. that's only a suggest.
