Caustic Sink Launcher: No more engineerable ?

I was making a new ship for fighting in the malestorm, so i took the CSL to be be engineered, but after arriving to Tam Tah i cannot choose them, they are not listed as a valid module to be engineered.
Someone else is having the same problem or it is just me ?

I went to Ram Tah to upgrade my caustic sink launcher with extra ammo capacity.

From what I could see, the plan is no longer showing...

Including on Inara where no engineer seems able to deliver it after update 15.

The best option would be to refund the materials and remove already applied mods, but I think the more likely outcome is that we now have one more God-module that's unobtainable for new(er) players.

Well that settles the sink issue. Now we need word on the scouts. Oddly after an initial excitement period, 5 people I play with have become frustrated enough they are putting the game down for a time.

I for one hope they do not remove the engineering upgrades from those of us that “got in before the lock out” … and I only did a few!

I’d be gutted to lose the extra ammo but equally it’s far from the most OTT “legacy engineering mod” that other folks have and none of those got removed.

Like many others, I was surprised they could be engineered in the first place, and now wish I'd done more than the two I have. It's probably a bit late to remove the modifications now, there'd be too much backlash. Perhaps they could still allow engineering for some experimental modules, but requiring some exotic Thargoid materials instead of the usual low-grade human stuff.

As Ram Tah is both the "Thargoid Expert" and Defensive Module Engineer (in the Bubble) surely it would make sense that he continues to be able to offer upgrades to defensive modules designed to protect against Thargoid attacks
