Are these mods? I never tried mods with medieval 2. I used to edit the tables a bit myself.
Hell, there are some really good mods out there. Third Age and Divide and Conquer are total conversions.
Third Age basically sets the game in the world of the Lord of the Rings. So you can play as Gondor, Rohan, Mordor, etc.
DaC expands on Third Age a lot more, adding a load more custom settlements, regions, factions, etc.
There was some controversy a couple of years ago with DaC though. Third Age devs always supported DaC as long as they kept the requirement to install was that it would be a sub-mod of TA, so you'd install TA first then DaC.
DaC devs decided to not comply and made their own full installer, which meant adding the content from TA to their own installer. This got them disowned by the TA team and banned from the most popular forum (twcenter) and any mention of them on that forum will get your post deleted and a warning from the mods.
So, links to TA are still there on twcenter and you can find all versions linked there (and on moddb).
D&C latest version you can't find there anymore... i think you can still get version 4.6 from moddb, but for version 5 (came out this year) you need to go to their Discord for the links.
If you want to keep the medieval theme there are lots of other good mods on twcenter. Stainless Steel is quite popular, although never tried it.
Anyway, that's enough from me on the topic, suspect mods will step in if we don't get back on topic.
