Dromedary camel had already arrived in a DLC pack.I thought for sure dromedary camel would be an anniversary animal.
My hope would be a ground avian species that still ties in with the latest DLC, like a secretary bird or crowned crane.
Though I would actually be super happy with something like the grevy's zebra instead.
I think that's why it's in past tense.Dromedary camel had already arrived in a DLC pack.
Bunch of Shops would be cool, too. But I am pretty convinced that we get an animal as we always got delivered (except year 1). I mean a Bear would be a cool thing as we did Not get any Bear species since over two years. And be it the American Black Bear as a relative "easy to make" and good looking Black Bear model with a bunch of color variations. I would celebrate it. I think the Spectacled Bear and Sloth Bear are so different from the other bears only a few people would be very disappointed about inclusion into a regular DLC.I still think a DLC animal clone is outside the realm of possibility, regardless of the red deer. So no penguins, monkeys, fancy birds.
If we didn't get the black rhino, that would be my guess, but now I'm thinking it'll be a bear of some sort. Not sure what, depends on what DLC we get.
Edit: Plus, they won't give us anything for free that would sell well in a DLC. Both the lemur and red deer have this in common. Conversely, when everyone thought the dromedary was an obvious contender for the anniversary animal I knew it wouldn't be; it was too popular of a choice to give away.
To me that narrows it down to a few key species that are still popular without warranting DLC-inclusion. American flamingo is one option, Eurasian brown bear, Sumatran tiger, European bison. I think it will be something like that. (Assuming we get a free animal; that's still not guaranteed. The new content folder could easily be a bunch of shops or something).
