It feels like only yesterday when we got the Arid pack and you got the beloved porcupine

I still can't believe it happened I still every time I'm looking at this animal there might be few tears coming out from my eyes lol the days of the the special livestream,dlc announcement and the launch for the Arid Animal Pack always will be in my heart and it really does feeling like it just happened yesterday!!! huh man now idk how to make the forums go insane with my love for the porcupines or just how to drive you all crazy

Surely the most obvious reason to update all the DLC would be because they are adding support for another language or something.

This change is just global number increase. Just look at update for deluxe edition extras. Nothing related to gameplay or game at all.

Like seriously. Im going to add DLCs and its updates are shown under Planet Zoo page (where you see lqa and such).

Guys, I noticed something strange. Normally if a DLC is released, other handful of DLCs gets and update. But here I see all DLCs updated simultaneously. Any thoughts?

I'm so excited! If it affects all animals, it could be anything... Maybe its fur variants? More enrichment? More animals interactions with each other. I have a feeling it could be big! I also feel as though we are close to something of Biblical proportions so some of us may not see this new DLC...

My working theory is that Frontier decided to release the Fall DLC early to avoid competing with City Skylines 2 (due for release late October with previews before then) which many creative gamers (including this community) are just salivating over and its release may drown out the impact of whatever new DLC we have in store...

sorry to hear that! but don't lose your hope frontier not giving only animals who are super requested! like froniter give the Spectacled Caiman and this animal has a 0 votes in the Meta Wishlist so there is a chance for the gray fox!

Not a terrible theory, TBH. The player base probably has decent overlap and I can think of a number of CCs who are going to go heavy on City Skylines 2 for the foreseeable future once that drops.

And, honestly, the fall pack being a strong one would be really beneficial in general considering the relatively tepid response to the arid pack.

This could be very valid, especially because the last two packs weren’t as large as a crowd pleaser as I am sure frontier was hoping they would be.

It does make me feel bad, because a lot of the animals in the last two packs were heavily wanted. I just think it’s more of an issue of how packs are structured/ the type of content they actually deliver. Also this is just me, but I think the meta-wishlist gets a little less valuable as animals get added and time moves on. 2 years ago someone may have been rooting for an animal like the Takin. Now in 2023, they still want the Takin, but they think birds/ monkeys are needed more in the game.

I wish it were fun to dream, but that stopped being fun a long time ago when people let their dreams turn into actual speculation, raising their own expectations, then getting mad when the thing that we know is nothing turned out to be nothing.

It is not fun to dream. It is a headache to dream.
