The different parts of the in game info delivering mechanism update at different times, the station report, the right hand ship panel, the system map, etc. Sometimes one has to wait hours for it all to update. To me it looks like the purple gang lost 9 settlements, which probably isn't a bad going. I suppose if player interest holds up and doesn't change direction, the system might begin to switch between 3-4 days of anarchy farming and 4 days of war. Not the worst of outcomes for an anarchy system..So apparently the war ended while I was relogging at Kosiy Synthetics. I had been trying to do 3-5 CZs at each settlement for the Purple Gang. Do we have to wait for the tick to update settlement ownership, or did we really only lose one settlement?(Baldock, the only settlement we lost according to in game info, was ironically the next base on my list)
Sorry, that really didn't help. Do I fight against the Purple gang on foot, or all the other factions? Isn't the whole system anarchists? I thought that was why we didn't have to worry about repercussions, bounties and all that.
Even if a system is under anarchy control, stations and settlements are all under local rules depending on who owns them.
So if you go to a station owned by an anarchy faction in a high-security system in the heart of the Empire, you can shoot every ship arriving and departing (just outside the fire zone) without bounties or notoriety.
On the flipside, if you shoot at anyone around a station or settlement owned by a NON-anarchy faction, even in an anarchy-controlled system, you will get bounties/notoriety unless you scan that person/ship and they're wanted.
How much you wanna bet FDev manipulated it out of their control? Don't want players to have it too easy, gotta make sure that grind keeps going.Edit 2: dead thread evidently, for anybody else who is not going through all the pages: on page 3 it is stated that the BGS state was slipping out of control on July 9th
Fdev don't need to take any deliberate actions to make things difficult for anarchies to remain stable, they've managed just fine in that regard already. How much you wanna bet FDev manipulated it out of their control? Don't want players to have it too easy, gotta make sure that grind keeps going.
I'm new at most of this stuff (CZ, BGS). If I fight a CZ for the Purples, I get some combat bonds. If I sell the bonds, it increases my standing with the Purples. But does it also increase the Purple's system influence, helping them in their war for the system control?
Look for powered down settlements. Only scavs at worst.Tonight I have raided a tourism settlement in an anarchy multiple times to farm encrypted memory chips. Killed a few dozens of people for this. Why do we have to be murderers to acquire memory chips ?does not make sense
For memory chips? They're all over the place in unlocked lockers in all kinds of settlements lawful and otherwise. You don't need to kill anyone to take them as long as nobody's watching you as you do it.Tonight I have raided a tourism settlement in an anarchy multiple times to farm encrypted memory chips. I do believe that a war is kicking off tonight, maybe fight for the anarchy to cleanse your sin?Tonight I have raided a tourism settlement in an anarchy multiple times to farm encrypted memory chips. They also only have a barter value of 4. You can get two of them for every optical lens you trade at the barkeep. For memory chips? It's the same throughout the ages - "Society made me do it. It's not my fault"For memory chips? They're all over the place in unlocked lockers in all kinds of settlements lawful and otherwise. You don't need to kill anyone to take them as long as nobody's watching you as you do it.
