Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

The more things change, the more they stay the same...

Latest Glassdoor:

Cons
Workflows can be very tedious and not so optimal Getting tasks before it's ready for you, if you're in the latter part of the pipeline Things you've been working on for months can be changed because of a new idea popped up and you have to re-make the entire thing.

This is going to be a great year for drama: first, the release of buggy SF, then the Con for Citizens.
Yep....also don't forget next month is release of the Star Field.....SC drama going into the climax and I bet that will be comparable with the South American Telenovelas(Soap opera of the "worst" kind)......

SF is going to be interesting. Because it is Bethesda it will probably have bugs - and because it is Bethesda there will be the usual internet haters lined up to make $$$ from hating on it. The only big game that seems to have escaped that recently was BG3.

So we will probably see LA & his SC friends happily posting vidz slagging SF off as if this makes SC any more palatable. Maybe 3.20 will finally appear and fix all the SC issues ... maybe.

Imagine all the SC refugees landing at the SF shores. There's also gonna be a number of delightful streamers leaving the sinking ship. You know when the rats bail it might be a decent consideration doing so, too.

Pivot from SC streaming to SC reaction videos. Seems to be working for some. A reaction video may be more popular than the primary one.

Yeah, seen a couple "reaction vids" - I'm not seeing a point in watching people watch other videos, games, movies. Playing yes, but simply comsuming stuff? That is so dumb.

No. SF will have some bugs but will be a good game to play (like SC).

As SF is solo game that will have no real update for a long time after it's release, I don't see a lot of streamers leaving the SC ship for this one. Some videos from them the first weeks and that's all. SC has some patch every quarter, more stuff to show on reccurent videos.

There is a point in this statement but it's not made. The point is that SF is a solo game and MP won't be interested in a solo game just because it's a working piece of software. They likely want a MP game and content.
