Frontier won't announce the last pack. As with all their games, the DLC will just stop and updates will taper off.Plot twist: the Arid pack was the last pack and that’s what Frontier will announce as well as PC2

There's a decent chance the last pack will be something big, sort of like what PC had and it will be priced more expensively.Frontier won't announce the last pack. As with all their games, the DLC will just stop and updates will taper off.
50/50 chance, considering we only have two Planet games.Considering it's a Planet game I also see the last pack being something special.

Well technically one if we are talking completed development, also jwe followed the same format so a pretty good chance.50/50 chance, considering we only have two Planet games.
Like, I don't know, a big bird pack? There's a decent chance the last pack will be something big, sort of like what PC had and it will be priced more expensively.
We have exactly one example out of two possible examples that the final pack will be 'special'. That means there's only a 50% chance. What
I hardly can see a safari pack happening with the last dlc since nothing is special about receiving even more african ungulates and friends. Usually something that should of been in the base game or carries a wow factor to some degree is how frontier likes to approach these last dlcs. However we have only received 2 examples of this in the past to base this on.Like, I don't know, a big bird pack?I'll never stop this fight!
Joking apart, this would be the perfect way to end the game for me. I already shared my ideal list of DLCs I still expect and I hope the game will end in December 2024 with a big pack with 20 birds. Would be a very nice Christmas gift. I hope we'll have 5 more DLCs until then: temperate forests and mountains pack for this year, coastal, children and treetops packs for 2024 before the big ending. I see a lot of people expecting a safari pack. I would buy it like every other DLC but it is a bit meh for me as we already have a lot of african animals in tje game.
This is probably the best outcome to me imo. I never really bought into the birds or aquariums as the final dlc, tbh. Could be called something like the "Global Animal Pack" or something, idk.Why does everyone keep bringing up a "Safari Pack"? We've already had an Africa DLC, and then the arid DLC covered more of those bases. The "Safari" is pretty much covered thematically from Frontier's perspective. Additional African animals, such as the highly-requested baboon or something like the serval or whatever, would just be bonuses, there's no chance they'll dedicate another full DLC to Africa.
Based on Planet Coaster and Jurassic World Evolution the "final pack" for Planet Zoo would probably look like an animal pack with scenery, and a free update adding in a few Coaster features such as additonal shops and hotels, and probably a scenario editor. I can imagine it being a "popular picks" wrap-up of some kind, however, but they'll never outright say "this is the last one".
Yeah that's what i think as well. And honestly i prefer it like that rather that yet another full african expansion. Why does everyone keep bringing up a "Safari Pack"? Honestly I feel like Africa is pretty much set too. Like a duiker, a couple primates and reptiles would be nice, but Africa doesn't need an expansion imo.Yeah that's what i think as well. And honestly i prefer it like that rather that yet another full african expansion.
Well, we have the Amur leopard. And from what I hear, African leopards are not only uncommon in zoos, but somebody mentioned that real-life zoos sometimes use Amur leopards instead of African. We are still missing a Baboon species, the African Leopard and Secretary Bird so I still believe a safari pack is quite likely. Especially if the dlcs continue into next year Add in a couple of antelope species and youve got yourself a decent pack. Nile Crocodile has also been mentioned.
But also, the final packs for each game were expansions. Not DLC, but proper expansions, and they were labeled as such. They both featured a new campaign as well as new features for each game (such as rides, themes, and/or new species)Frontier openly said in one financal video they are doing that as last cash grab. PC got one, JWE got one, PZ is getting one and go on.
One thing im sure there won't be such nonsense as wrap-up pack or random global animal pack. Frontier packs are always sort of cohesive and based on something. Legendary bird pack with 4 habitat species and 4-8 WE's sounds more plausible than plywood pack.
