If thats the case then thats the opposite of a dissapointment
These domes could work for a variety of animals we already have, skunks, armadillos, foxes, prairie dogs and meerkats, I’m glad I didn’t build a porcupine enclosure yet, I’m putting those domes in there, a quill can’t break the glass right? Eh they’ll be fine.
Usually they are acrylic domes so a porcupine would in theory be fine.
These domes usually have quite thick glass or are acrylic to stop not just the animals from breaking it but also the kids who probably bang on it.
Yeah thought so. I never go in the children’s zoo in my local zoo cause it’s at the end and I don’t feel like walking anymore.
I have no idea what all of this means and I'm getting very curious..... The first thing I thought is we could get a species that could be mixed with the red panda, like the reeve's muntjac. But that's probably too easy of an explanation. A glass viewing bubble would be awesome !
It was a joke, a bad one at that lolWft why should the porcupines quills be a problem for the bubbles?
They are just hardened hairs not made from steel or something
I would absolutely love if we got domesticated rabbits, with tons of color morphs and piebaldism
the update pictures usually dont hint at the DLC, so its all open for debate
I think the Educational Pack (as someone re-branded the Children Zoo Pack earlier) is a way to open up for pretty much any animal Frontier would like to include. That way it doesn't have to be fully focused on domestic and/or child-friendly animals which also makes the Tassie more likely cause it's not really the first animal to come to mind when you are thinking about a Children Zoo Pack, is it? And besides, I find it hard that they would name a DLC Children Zoo Pack.
So I’m late to the party, but the bubble dome makes me think this update/ dlc will focus a lot on interaction with the guests and animals. I’m gonna guess it’s either an education pack or a children’s zoo pack. It’s still possible we could get a temperate pack, but I’ll be happy with anything at this point. Give me a waterfowl (or two!) and I’ll be a happy camper.
Still intrugued by the 'mix it up' and 'shake it up' hints. I expect these hints relate to the theme of the livestream, rather than the theme of the DLC, but who knows?
My first thought was cocktail mixing, but this seems unlikely for an under-18 rated game. Lots of kids playing this game and tuning in. Also if the DLC is children's zoo then cocktails would be an extremely unlikely (though hilarious) juxtaposition.

Mixing up options for exhibits/WEs/aviaries?
Mixing and shaking jellies? Feel like they'd use "wobble" in the hints then though.

Highland cow, pygmy goat, shetland pony, squirrel monkey, coati and rainbow lorikeets would be my top picks I think.

I just watched old country new video and I think he up on something, maybe frontier meant with mixing things up it's meaning they gonna announce the update in the livestream and they gonna also give hints for the dlc!!!! all the credit for @Old Country for this great theory!
Yes! Skeletons, texture samples, Interactive posters, mounted specimens, all would be awesome. I'd love to build a museum of sorts in a zoo.
