Fall DLC 2023 Speculation

Not really, frontier has never put more then 2 unique rigs per scenery pack and quite frankly the tree kangaroo is both the hardest and least popular of the 3 frontrunner
Agree. This is dead end for tree kangaroo.
People who believe in frontier generosity are delusional lol.
And even then it has no place for any arboreal pack due to coati and monkeys. Sadge.

Likewise if it's an island pack.

I actually think it's islands and:

The fire clue is Tasmanian Devil
The smile clue is the Macaque (remember that selfie a sulawesi macaque took and then there was legal srama over wherher the macaque owned it)
The getaway clue is the tree kangaroo
the Cerulean Pebble is the kiwi. They're literally blueish Brown circles.

Not buying this quokka idea, or a second Australia Pack.
to be clear, you are suggesting that the kiwi-colored kiwi-flavored drink whose main ingredient is kiwi and was topped with kiwi, kiwi, and more kiwi… is a hint to a tree kangaroo, and a different drink is a better hint towards the kiwi?

Do you have any more information on this? Seems interesting.
Page 18 on the latest EAZA TAG Reports mentions it - I'll include the relevant paragraph here, plus the link:

'In 2022, the Penguin TAG continued to be in close contact with the Zoo and Aquarium Association (ZAA) in Australasia about the possibility of importing little penguins (Eudyptula minor) in the future. Australia has limited the space available for continuous breeding so a transfer to the EAZA region may assist in this regard. ZAA is currently aiming towards an export in 2024. This way, ZAA members can breed the birds to the requirements. Those EAZA institutions interested to start with the species were provided with the husbandry requirements by the TAG.'

Also can someone please explain to me why there’s any discussion whatsoever about the smile drink being a tree kangaroo? I don’t get it. All of the other drink associations are very on the nose. This has to be an animal known for smiling. I can at least humor the crested macaque suggestion even though I’m very confident it’s still wrong, but why it would point towards a tree kangaroo is just absolutely behind me.

Quokkas live in an island? I'm not very familiar with Australian/oceania fauna
The majority of their distribution is actually on the mainland, but they're most famous for Rottnest Island, which is a huge tourist attraction due to its high population of completely unafraid quokkas. It's where people take all their "quokka selfies".

Good luck even seeing a quokka on the mainland, let alone getting a selfie with them lol.

For the people saying tree kangaroo can’t get in, I’m not gonna give my stance on this, but don’t make any calls because we literally have to wait less than 24 hours to know officially. There’s no point to starting a debate on this when we will know tomorrow.
Or the day after tommorow If they should Split Update and DLC announcement in two different days (which I do not really hope). But the Update remains a mystery for me. Last Time they did IT Like that we got brachiation. So there could, I repeat could, be a Main feature we do Not know until now (which would again Put the Lorikeet in Front of the Orchid Mantis now 😅).

On the contrary, this is the only time we can debate. When we know for sure, the debate will be settled.
That being said, saying a tree kangaroo smiles compared to a quokka or sulawesi macaque is ridiculous, as much as I'd prefer a tree kangaroo to either of those two (and in fact would like all three to make it into the game).
