Sounds like you have some more investigation to doWhich objects? And... spire compounds collected by hand?
I still need to collect the ship-mats - Banshee are tough and I have yet to work out how to avoid them in an SRV <sigh>

Oh yeah, the banshee was absolutely terrifying.... but the EMP missiles coming in as my ship descended, that was awesome. The effects on those bad boys are awesome.Sounds like you have some more investigation to do(hint: overpower is useful on nerves)

As you wander around you find things - I never thought to try the overcharge setting on the Energylink tool - which turned out to be how you interact with them. (Makes sense - electrical overcharge on a nerve - but I'm too used to just shooting everythingNo idea what you're hint means, but yeah, I've been living vicariously through the forums recently (thanks Valheim...) which is pretty dead for updates on this stuff these days.
Its full of annoying bugs again, like always. I think a hotfix is coming very soon.Just realised i botched so my timings and U17 is out already... thought it was supposed to be about now XD

Landing pads near the top of the spires are fun as well![]()
Yeah - same here. Banshee in particular seem to see me from a long way off. The spire foot-mats are easy enough, but the SRV things are an on-going puzzle. So, based on your SRV comment, I guess you haven't got anything out of the megabarnacle in one piece yet then? I got two different things, couldn't tell what they were because was on foot... but with the patrols in the area, doing the on-foot then getting back to the SRV to scoop up the stuff seems.... difficult.
So... err... you didn't grab "the other thing" that's under there? There isn't just the stuff from the nerve clusters under there.I just found a way for the SRV - somewhere in the middle of the barnacle there is a stone ring with tall, pointed stones and it has two narrow entrances, but the SRV can pass and can hide there, it is protected from fire.
First I went out on-foot, shot one revenant with the L-6 because it was in the way, and then went in with the SRV under the barnacle. They noticed me, but it was already too late, I entered the hiding place. They tried to shoot a bit, but after about 2-3 minutes they gave up and moved away.
I picked up one Impure Spire Mineral, it's a toxic cargo.
I still haven't scanned them, so I don't even know what they are, but for the most part no one attacks you except for some ridiculous projectiles that briefly disable the thrusters. You can land the ship right next to the main tree, and the temperature doesn't seem to matter.So... err... you didn't grab "the other thing" that's under there? Also, I know there's ships going in and out all the time, but are they Orthrus? They seem to have the corrosive tail happening
I'm probably going ot have to start a U17 spoiler thread in the Alien section soon with some piccies when I go back tonight. BTW, do cold-running ships work here?
Obviously, it was merely a test of thoroughness, given the stuff with the unclassified relic prior. I was hardly surprised for no reaction and had only sold one item.Palin's the bug freak, Ram Tah's the guardian fanatic.
There's one more thing from under the mega barnacle. I don't have pics or a name. I don't want to spoil in case you want to find it yourself, but I'll get some pics and stuff tonight (so, in about 12 hours or so)I still haven't scanned them, so I don't even know what they are, but for the most part no one attacks you except for some ridiculous projectiles that briefly disable the thrusters. So far I have collected Impure Spire Mineral and Semi-refined Mineral (from SRV) and spire refinery compound (on foot), and I don't even know what else there is, but I guess it should be Spire Refined Mineral.

https://www.youtube.com/live/FISb5iiFLk8?feature=shared&t=5224So a Series of CGs to try and defend the isolation facilities from the Thargoids when they come to get their components back.
Or competitive CGs to liberate the prisoners in the facilities and return them to their families versus prevent the do-gooders from releasing the new Thargoid plague into civilisation.
