Please not Angry Joe. I wouldn't want to see him sink that low.
No, seems they are taking a more skeptic approach. They are fully aware there is no date for SQ42 and that "polish" can take years.

You can do the same things you see in the video in the current alpha (from space to ground to space). It's real time.Even I, a person who knows nothing about game development, understands that "in engine" does not even mean "real time". And there is A LOT one can do with that, that is not possible in the (mis)represented game.
I don't undestand if you say that CIG sould/should not keeping up with Vulkan and if they are able/unable to do it (sorry I'm french). The second and third options are the same. Keeping up with modern advancements is irrelevant because it applies to any API, and is only worse in StarCryLumberEngine's case because of how long it's been in development, how far the technology has moved in that time, and what a horrific mess it clearly is.
Still described as an alpha? You can do the same things you see in the video in the current alpha (from space to ground to space). It's real time.
Thank god.No, seems they are taking a more skeptic approach. They are fully aware there is no date for SQ42 and that "polish" can take years.
Alpha, beta, release have no meaning for SC and are just means to muddy the water and increase misinformation.Still described as an alpha?
I could paraphrase that by saying “Current features are interleaved with future aspirations to the point where a detailed explanation is required to separate the two”.Ok, my bad. I haven't checked the timeline.
Already in-game from 0 to 7:30 min + 8:00 to 9:00 + 9:20 to 12:00 + 12:30 to 13:30.
Most of us here, I believe, will be pleased and happily pay for and play both SC and SQ404. Should they ever be fully released*, and be decent, playable and fun.
"Wer einmal lügt dem glaubt man nicht und wenn er auch die Wahrheit spricht." - that's an idiom here of the kind "Fool me once", but then there is no fooling twice.
...
2) I'm pretty burned out on space games. Elite for many years, then NMS for a few months, X4 and Starfield i just couldn't get motivated to get into.
....
Pied Piper has a tune for all the gullibers.Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool me 100 times, I'm a Star Citizen fan!
In the case of SC, "alpha" just means a game that sucks after 12+ years of development and 600+ millions spent on it.Still described as an alpha?
There are places were they call that "a stable job / job security".It will never be released my dear Doog. It’s polish and ship sales until the end of time from here on.
What does he mean with magic beams? Heal beams in ED - that was magic beams. Can't for the life of me find it but I'm sure someone told me SC wouldn't be cheap and gimicky 'beamz for all' like filthy other games....

Overdose of magical beams in Star Citizen - Star Citizen Spectrum
Hello everyone, I'd like to talk about something that worries me a lot about the artistic and gameplay direction that Star Citizen is heading towards. The overuse of magic beams in way too much...robertsspaceindustries.com

What a hater. He didn’t. He said something like, “When it comes to CIG, it’s safe to assume the worst.”
CIG termsIn the case of SC, "alpha" just means a game that sucks after 12+ years of development and 600+ millions spent on it.
