Sniper rifle laser sight development can be challenging

Lol, that is so awful. That is the perfect illustration of ambition and execution in SC.

It's where Star Citizen's fidelity and immersion's at.
About that... I had a bit of an epiphany.

So I was looking at what I first thought were air-intakes on my space ship engines, but which actually are the fixed forward auxiliary thrusters or whatever.

I can see the workflow you describe here. The first artist designed cool-looking engines with air-intakes because engines need air, right? The technical artist just shrugged and plugged the fire into whatever orifice available. A bit close to the hull and not in line with the other direction? Doesn't matter. Magic.

And that's when I realized that "visceral" immersion is not "rational" immersion. You're supposed to be in it with the guts, not the head. More adrenaline, less physics. Feel the rush, don't overthink it. Strap into the exposed turret on the hull and go brrrr.

I will just have to try to stick to that mantra and keep thoughts of overly realistic physics in Kerbal Space Program :)

I dread the aerodynamic control surfaces CIG threatened to implement Soon.

EVA reentry with Kerbal is quite vusceral.

"I wonder how Chris Roberts would have reacted to such a thing, spawning and then get killed over and over again because of a bug (sure they forgot to set up an armistice zone) and an immature Idiot." -- Spectrum

Another fridge moment here... Chris Roberts likes to say "See you in the 'Verse!" but is there any anecdotal evidence of anyone ever seeing Chris Roberts in the 'Verse?
He probably has his own private servers, I guess.

He is president of several entities in Star Citizen. He has constant business meetings and deals to attend to.

Do you remember what happened the last time Chris tried to play Star Citizen?

"Dennis! Its borked!"

I did not and have now rectified that mistake.

I only really looked into Star Citizen on the free fly in september and because a Twitch dude returned to it (give Jonah a follow, he talks good ;) ).

I watched a variety of Chris Roberts "If that's your dream, we'll have it. Whatever." videos, lurked in the swamps of the Spectrum and been trying to figure out what Chris Roberts' goal is. I'm not sure he still has one. From my armchair perspective, he seems to be (at least partially) living in la-la-land. I wouldn't be surprised if he'd set hiś calendar to 2953 by now :)

Fidelity.
What irks me is instead of using straight line for what a laser should be they used something less simple and the result is...typical CIG, over budget, over complicated and completely messed up.
If you're going to fake a post, at least make it somewhat realistic. This is just laughable.

Assuming the poster is legit.
He's only head of Star Citizen as a scam. What made him watch the Citcon video?

Isn't Chris Roberts dead lore wise?
