Weekly community poll - who is your favorite base game bird? Which of the 3 OGs ranks on top of the pecking order?

For me, I love the peafowl, BUT BOY do they make a mess. And the ostrich is one of the best models in the base game. But I have to go with the Prince of Pink, the Greater Flamingo.

I love building semi-aquatic exhibits and the fact THEY DO INDEED FLY (!!!) puts them on top for me. What about you?

I'll go with flamingos aswell, love making entrance habitats for them.

From your choices I guess that the species must be similar to those already in the game, without the need for proper flying mechanics.

EDIT 2: oh, oh, OH!! I just realized the burrowing owl is an owl so i choose them for Twilight and that absolutly elevates that pack to "good DLC" territory.

Hey all, no updates this week, but weekly community poll - It's Thanksgiving this week here in America, so what in Planet Zoo are YOU thankful for?

I grew up playing Zoo Tycoon 1 and 2, and loved them, but always wanted more customization. So I'm thankful a zoo simulation game has come out that allows me to live out my 90s baby dreams and recreate my favorite movie.

I’m thankful for this community. It isn’t often that you find a fan base that isn’t full of weirdos or toxics. This community is full of like minded people who care about the others and the game. Some of the nicest people I’ve met have been from these forums. Even though many may be halfway across the world, we still can come together in these pages, and talk about our love for wildlife and Planet Zoo.

Thank you PZ, for getting me into this awesome space full of incredible people.
