As our previous system was based on prefabs, any changes to location was source of issue as it needs to reenable whole set of data to have things like missions or shops to work again.

Pros

A handful few, talented people, holding this 1k+ employee company on their shoulders. Good PTO policies, decent insurance and benefits.

Cons

Toxic work culture from the top down. No established pipeline, meaning processes change for every single release - none of it communicated. Downstream teams are treated like livestock. Awful, broken tools. Dysfunctional performance reviews. A strong propension from upper management to throw lower level employees under the bus for their own shortcomings.
 
So remember that time CIG tried their 'little company that could' retcon, by removing all the outsourcing numbers?

But throw in the contractor numbers, and it looks a different story ;)

Staff + Contractor Numbers for 2013 - 2014:

Aug 2013: 90 (50 staff, 40~ contractors) [and rising]

Oct 2013: 110 (IE at Citcon. Approx 130-140 by this vid in Dec)

June 2014: 268 (approx half staff, half contract)

A year earlier Chris was on another Citcon stage stating the actual numbers ;)

That's crap yeah. (Doxxing, spitting, etc). Within the spectrum of crappy org behaviour that you probably see everywhere though tbh.
Well… look at that… SC having toxicity issues? Who would have thought that.

I can totally see CIG implementing a hotline…
