COMPLETED CG Appeal for Anti-Titan Weapon Materials (Trade)

This sounds like you're not going to the right economy.

definitely - i was in an agri system which it did gave missions for Ion distributors and neofabric insulations - but they were quite rare - 1-2 occurrences at best for the doable missions (no i dont consider mining clathrate as a doable mission 😂 - there was at least one of those offering CG commodities at any moment in the board,. but - meh!)

I'm running a Clipper with 512t of cargo space and four different cabins. I'm then just grabbing all the "Critically Injured" transportation missions, which use cargo space rather than passenger cabins, so that's no problem.

I was wondering whether to try this next pass but won't have chance until tomorrow. Good to know it's viable, thanks 😸

Fwiw, if you do it, you won't take a fill off 20 missions, so make sure you take some extras for a few million credits extra on the side (or mats, whatever your poison).

I remember enjoying doing missions to/from Rescue Megaships (pick up stuff like escape pods or black boxes) and Burning stations (evac missions) back in the day. Size 3 MLC really helped by having 4 collectors in a size 3 internal.
Back then i was using a Conda with a size 7 cargo rack rest economy cabins plus the mining mlc

Guess i should try the new evac missions too - before they vanish as well.

I guess that's a Cutter, right?

Just got back to the bubble after 3 months in the centre and thought id latch onto this for some fun before the update, really enjoying this one.
Much more fun station hopping and running missions than my normal 'lob 500T+ in the cutter' and haul jobs.

May try these station evacs though.

Following @Jmanis 512t Cutter hint, i'm planning this build - the ax mc are the new gimbaled variant (not featured on Coriolis), but i didnt quite caught the "4 different cabins" thingie.
Are those that snobs to demand business / first class cabins to be evacuated from a burning station?

Some of those snobs do indeed want to pay for immediate and premium transport from the station instead of waiting in a queue. I suspect the reasoning is that if the regular passenger and/or delivery missions don’t offer any or low quantities of NI… you look at those VIP transport contracts.

Bring a tough shield or lots of hull if you go shieldless. And an ECM or two. You're going to need them, the former/survivability especially if you visit a damaged port for evacs.
Cheers, i have an AX cutter i used for Titan scavenging with plenty of hull and shields, will just remove some limpets and replace with cabins or more cargo.

Yeh i pack one of each... most are economy but there's occasionally ones with neofabrics and they want first class...

I love how people have come up with all sorts of different ways to make this one viable and fun. I've ended up doing the popular park Cutter in a station and wait for stock to refresh option, made more interesting by taking taxis to heist Odyssey settlements between loads to keep the Elite Dangerous community supplied with suit schematics & power regulators o7

Yeah, it's something that's sorely lacking from CGs; diversity of contribution.

Conflict CGs are terrible for this... trivialising a bunch of mechanics that would normally contribute to winning a normal BGS war down to "combat bonds go brrrr".

It's great that missions can result in the ability to contribute to this CG, as that indirectly makes a raft of activities possible for contribution... by competing that against comparatively low supply goods is actually really clever.... no way would this work of it was against typical market supply goods.

I just saw the bug. My CG contribution was at 110 tons. I had 44 neofabric insulators in my hold. Checked I could see them in Inventory, relogged for good measure, then sold them. My contribution was still 110 half an hour later after a relog and some flying around.

If I get some more I'll make a video of handing in.

<Edit> It just happened again. Is there an open bug report I can confirm to?

No bugreport sorry... i couldn't reliably reproduce it... that's not to say it's not a bug, i just couldn't reproduce the evidence to my satisfaction. Happy to contribute what I've got, but might retry later.

Well, since I have video I've submitted a ticket for "lost in-game assets". I have a cynical feeling that this will get the issue more attention than just a bug report. Maybe it will prompt a review of all the CG contributions.

Edit: they can tell from logs that my contributions weren't credited, and it's been fixed. The issue is passed on to QA team. This process at least seems to work well. I'm going to video every hand-in from now on, (not that it really matters, I'm still only in the "top 100%").
