TrueI think as far as how they move and act they're both equal, we have the Mandrill and we have lemurs which even though they aren't mainland Africa people usually use them in Africa sections, so they both have something similar to whats in the game already. Both would improve the primate roster and both would be great quality upgrades, but the baboon represents the middle east and our first true desert primate, which is why it edges out the colobus imo.
VeryMan how starved for monkeys are we that were calling mandrils and hamadryas and guereza and lemurs similar?![]()
Bro the scenery and the update would be so worth it on their own, and then variety animals on top of that are just a welcome bonusSome time ago I made a thread with a pack and update I'd like to have in game and it pretty fast appeared to be very unpopular opinion so I guess it counts if I send it here
It's kinda centered around gamekeepery and taxidermy which is probably what people confused and angered about this pack

I know... :/ I just simply didn't know how to put them in the pack to be included and also I thought it could bring a new mechanics of visitors to be actually able to feed them with the zoo food bought by money, like people do near ponds with ducks or on the special places like "bunny island" and such. Why would the rabbits/ducks be a WTE?why is the best animal of the pack stuck in the Walkthrough exhibit?
But they can implement those mechanics with them still being habitat animals.thought it could bring a new mechanics of visitors to be actually able to feed them with the zoo food bought by money, like people do near ponds with ducks or on the special places like "bunny island" and such.
Could be nice, yesBut they can implement those mechanics with them still being habitat animals.
How bout a squirrel lolIn that case I don't have any idea what should be the last animal for exhibit/WTE![]()
I dont think it was your theming that was unpopular it was the roster, both animals you said for exhibits have no reason to be for exhibits we have the swan and quokka 2 easily comparable animals. Some time ago I made a thread with a pack and update I'd like to have in game and it pretty fast appeared to be very unpopular opinion so I guess it counts if I send it here

We already have some domestic animals in the game, Reindeer, Llama, Bactrian Camel and Dromedary, Capybara is also livestock in Venezuela. Wild Water Buffalo is possible ancestor of domestic buffalo, you can use it to pretend domestic cattle in the gameI got a better one:
- Domestics are part of allmost every zoo and without them this will never be truly a complete game
I think domestic that you will actually find in a domestics area/ petting zoo is whats meant here. And of those we dont really have any. The llama probably comes closest but even here its the alpaca 9/10 instead. We already have some domestic animals in the game, Reindeer, Llama, Bactrian Camel and Dromedary, Capybara is also livestock in Venezuela. Nah, ppl were saying like "What is hunting/killing animals to do with zoos?"I dont think it was your theming that was unpopular it was the roster
Well if you like taxidermy, skeletons, and other things. I made a thread around how zoos use educational pieces. Including the stuff listed above! I strongly recommend you check it out and add to it!Nah, ppl were saying like "What is hunting/killing animals to do with zoos?"
I guess I worded myself poorly. These are just so typical animals to see in zoos and also typical to gamekeeped which is why it went together with the free update theme. I know it has a lot of antler-animals but this is exactly what I see in zoos when I go in one. It's not my fault there is such a huge variety of them and I feel like we are missing a lot of these ^^" like- wiki says there is around 55 different cervidae species and people want to stop at 4 because now "no more ungulates" is new mainstream opinion? ^^"
That is why I thought one pack dedicated mostly to them would fix the problem for people who want them. And even I know this is unpopular opinion section I don't think I am the only one who misses them.
Also the taxidermy/anatomy showcase stuff is what I feel PlanetZoo misses. I see that in the zoo too but it doesn't mean those animals were cruelry killed. Mostly it's animals which died by age in the zoo and they just want to display it's bones for those who are interested to see. I saw a giant tortoise shell of past zoo inhabitant for people to see up close and being able to touch it. Zoo in my country also have maquetes of animal anatomical parts for blind people to touch and imagine how it looks like, for example tiger tongue, lion skull, crocodile scales, pawprints and such. I don't know if PZ chose to not implement it bcs of sensitive people? But animals HAVE bones in PZ when they die...?
Of course I am totally fine if this pack would come much later after most of the wishlisted animals are implemented already. I am not saying it's a must of the must but it's a pack I would personally really like. Deer, bunnies, ducks and pheasant XD
But I just might be a weardo of the group because I am also PRO pack of PZ animals "copies" of their subspecies. Like a pack which would not include 8 animals but 16 if for the same price, but it would contain only retextured or/and slightly edited versions of animals already in the game. Zebra species, lion species, wolf species, flamingo species, lemur species and such.
for sure depending on where you are deer make up a huge amount of a zoos roster but 4/55 is about 7% which is still fairly good representation when the game only has 180 animals total and only 11 birds. I have no problem with deer I think deer are one of the more underrepresented ungulate families its just a pack entirely full of then will turn many people away whether that be they look at the pack and see a bunch of similar looking animals and not think its worth it or whether they actively dont want deer.Nah, ppl were saying like "What is hunting/killing animals to do with zoos?"
