I think that depends on the size of the controller, I use a 7A on my laser miners and they have the range and life of other a rated collectors.

Afaik limpet range depends on both the class and the size, so a 7A universal should have the same stats as a 7A collector when deployed with that function. (But multi-limpet controllers are actually terrible at displaying their stats as they are, because only the highest ones are listed... eg 3C mining-multi shows prospector stats only, not those of the collector.)

7A Universal limpets give 5A Collectors; in general the next-lower limpet class with the same rating, but with the strange exception of the 3C Xeno limpet having a 3E Decontamination which repairs more quickly than its 1C Repair, albeit for lower duration. Multi-limpets for Research also act more slowly than 1E Research, perhaps as if they count as multi-target.

The 3B Operations should give 1B Collectors, which still have a quite small bit more range than a 3A Collector, although less than a 3B Collector. The price for having four Limpets from one module!
Fair enough, but it still appears to be enough that I don't notice any particular discrepancy, whereas I did distinctly notice having to move away further from the Titan when using the mining multi-limpet (before seeing the advice around the forum to use 3B Operations, which has largely eliminated that 'issue' for my setup on a Krait).

Aren't foreign words often just transliterated into a language if an equivalent doesn't already exist in the language in question?

18mil reward is top 75% though. How much did you haul?
For a bit of insight regarding the reward versus the percentile band, the top 50% reward was 18 million credits for a few days while the mission was at Tier 6. The rewards increased upon reaching Tier 7, and it so happens that the Tier 7 top 75% reward matches the Tier 6 top 50% reward, which is where some confusion may arise!
If you're uploading to Inara it should highlight which tier you were in on the https://inara.cz/elite/communitygoals/ page. At least it does for me
