And by the way.... if Paul comes out and publically declares the end of rare trading, I'll also happily and publically eat my shorts. But for now, I don't think that will happen.
You wouldnt have enjoyed PP 1.0. Grinding merits was a chore and having to sub to each power after a month each time and grind more merits to unlock the modules was really terrible gameplay.
The current issues will hopefully be fixed soon.
Why regretting PP 1.0 tho![]()
Exactly, there are no other benefits to doing PP 2.0 than getting the modules. But when you put the reward so far out of reach who is going to be left doing PP?Because he would already have had all of the PP modules and wouldn’t need to bother with this garbage grind now.
You want ketchup with those shorts or do you already have them adequately seasoned?And by the way.... if Paul comes out and publically declares the end of rare trading, I'll also happily and publically eat my shorts. But for now, I don't think that will happen.
I am guessing there are people who do powerplay for the core of it - territory gains, politics, that stuff. That the current discussion is dominated by module shoppers and rank grinders is unfortunate and possibly detrimental to PP, in my opinion.Exactly, there are no other benefits to doing PP 2.0 than getting the modules. Not seeing any announcements yet. Also I don't like ketchup.You want ketchup with those shorts or do you already have them adequately seasoned?
The only reason the modules were ever put into PP was to get more people "playing" PP not for the reasons of PP butodile shopping. If you take out the modules PP will become the plaything of those who enjoy PP for PP reasons, hence why they will never get rid of the modules ?I am guessing there are people who do powerplay for the core of it - territory gains, politics, that stuff. It is, totally detrimental.That the current discussion is dominated by module shoppers and rank grinders is unfortunate and possibly detrimental to PP, in my opinion.
Obtaining all modules in PP 1.0 -> 4*11=44 weeksBecause he would already have had all of the PP modules and wouldn’t need to bother with this garbage grind now.
Tell me what other rewards are there in PP? Module shoppers? Say the person who has all his modules. I don't even have 1 yet. I'm seeking reward for the gameplay I put it. Hence, the MERIT SYSTEM that has no merit.It is, totally detrimental.
I think you're a little delulu Rebel, 20k a week? where? How? Maybe 5-10 max. It's going to take a lot longer to get the mods than PP 1.0Obtaining all modules in PP 1.0 -> 4*11=44 weeks
Obtainin all modules in PP 2.0 -> 20k/week = 780k/20k = 39 weeks
If with PP 2.0 one has to allocate much more time to PP stuff (whilst for PP 1.0 was like "wait 3 weeks than do this and get the module in 15 mins work") it's just better for the gameplay. Don't like it? Amen... but complaining about a feature 1 week out, seems pretty much weird.

agreed!It could be argued that the PP2 gameplay one has to dedicate now is boring, repetitive and time consuming to the point that one’s entire playtime has to be focused on PP and often even stuck within the territory of their power.
With PP1 at least they could pledge and go do whatever they found fun for the 3 weeks. Yes that was dumb and made no sense either but at least it wasn’t boring and grindy.
That's because you decided to "consume" your time doing "boring" and "repetitive" things.It could be argued that the PP2 gameplay one has to dedicate now is boring, repetitive and time consuming to the point that one’s entire playtime has to be focused on PP and often even stuck within the territory of their power.
The reward is the joy! The Adrenaline you feel on the motorcycle(Harley here). Everything you do in life has a reward attached to it, whether it's physical, mental , spiritual or emotional. If you don't do things for the joy(reward) than why do them? Are you some kind of Taoist monk who is centered in nothingness? Come on. I've waited a long time for the change in PP but it seems it's not any better than the first.When are people going to start doing things because they like doing them, not just because there's a reward? I don't get rewarded for watching Lord of the Rings for the umpteenth time, or reading Dune again, or taking my motorcycle/car out for a blast. I do these things because they bring me joy, no more, no less. If you're only engaging in a game's system for the perceived reward, then maybe it's not really the game you want to be playing?
