I remember the time when we have cutscene on the game startup, it was a feaures (with a missing checkbox "don't show on next satart" but instead of improving this features, FDEV just remove it and put cutscenes on youtube...
I guess now it the common way to fix things at FDEV...
not working as expected... just disable it...
thats explain a lot of things about the PP 2.0

So … will AGF resistant Guardian weapons (ideally including the mod plasma / shard variants) finally be offered for sale for standard credits on rescue ships now?

This is the whole of Humanity that is at stake. Would be a nonsense to continue to lock weapons behind fetch this side quests …
 
Honestly, the ridiculous nature of not being able to do a thing is just frustrating mate. Is this all geared up so you PURCHASE a ship that can do it.
I haven't got everything engineered to the teeth for this sort of conflict.
Theres no way to know how to kit out your ship without going through pages of threads and copying someones loadouts, if its even possible, as they are normally engineered to the back teeth.

I don't expect to have it destroy my ships repeatedly upon entering the system, without even the chance of being able to escape.

Are you just making the game for hardcore players that are on continuously and have spent thousands of hours collecting stuff, or do you want to make it a little bit easier so other players can actually enjoy the game without it costing 30million credits every time the ship blows up.. Its just a windup and off putting. I can see why people leave the game so easily.

I think maybe you guys get a bit to wrapped up in this and forget some people aren't on the game 24/7 and collecting the hundreds of resources a materials that you need for every last little thing.

Event when this sort of thing isn't ongoing, just using the game is an absolute chore. I shouldn't have to go to 3rd party websites for every last little thing to be accessed.

Honestly.. Its a joke! Get better Ive paid money already and don't want it to be a continuous cash cow for you. Stop being lazy and make the game better so more people buy it because is is enjoyable to play, instead of counting on skin purchases and builds! :(
Whilst I understand your frustration, there are things that don’t require too much engineering:

- Rescues can be done one “anything” fast. Ideally with heatsinks and ECMs. Just spam and run if when you get interdicted.

- Killing Scouts in station/surface AX CZs just requires a ship with a bunch of hull and some EAX MCs you can buy for credits.

Taking on Interceptors or the Titan itself, yeh, that’s a bit more involved. But you can take out low level (Cyclops) Interceptors with those same EAX MCs.

Very much doubt it. Frontier just updated the requirements for the Anti-Guardian Zone Resistance mod to not require Tactical Core Chips.
 
This could be the start of the Goids joining pp2.0 to try and shape the human race with their ideals ( with Seo Jin's help). They take over the center of the bubble pushing all of us further and further out from the center. Good thing colonization should soon(tm) be a thing

I'm not normally one to be overly excited about potentials, tending to wait and see how things play out, but I really, really want Thargoids to form a permanent and dynamic part of the galaxy, and this is a good way to do it in my opinion.

I mean, I'd love to, but y'all haven't fixed the major bugs yet. Who knew poor coding would lead to the end of humanity? ... Oh, wait, everyone.
 
1. Are burning stations surrounded by friendly forces too, so I can sneak in&out with slow&cold Python or am I alone upon low-wake and must survive whatever they immediately throw at me and need something to boost 500?
2. Are we loading passengers on stations or limpeting the pods?

still rotational correction bug and all thargoid attacks phasing through station walls, broken instances and gankers at pickup, no pad at drop off, can we do rescue missions in open without it sucking next war please ?
also it broke my heart to witness a capital ship in a thargoid war for the first time and it had all beams focused on a scout unable to bring it down.
 
That's nice but I deeply dislike BoostBoostBoostBoostBoostBoostBoostBoostBoostBoostBoost combat. (That's why my combat rank is still low)
So your combat rank is low because you have no idea how thargoid combat, or any other form of pve combat in this game for that matter, work...
