The fear of missing out on a free premium item that some might consider quite desirable - and a bit of a bargain as the store page suggests it'd normally be 10k Arx (if they're even sold regularly now) - that's being offered only during part of a (busy, pre-xmas) work week, If that's not playing on FOMO I don't know what is.

Again, where is the fear? What is causing the fear of missing out?

If they don't know it's there, how can they be afraid of missing it? If they know it's there, they're clearly having some free time since they're browsing the forum or social media or something and can just grab it. If it required installing the game and logging in, then yeah I could see people panicking that they might not have a moment to do that before friday. Since you can do it in literally 30s after seeing that post, I just don't get why you'd manage to develop FOMO from it.

Or is the argument that because they occasionally give out free skins, everybody needs to constantly be fearing that they'll miss out on something? In which case how is this different from every other time they've given something free?

There was a free decal I missed in october... I'm a bit disappointed, but since I didn't know it was available at the time it was available, I suffered no fear of missing out on it, because by the time I found out about it I'd already missed it.

Now that sale in the store, with no defined end date... that I can categorize as FOMO... "You should buy now! Sale might be over tomorrow! ...or it might last a month, who knows..."

Could you upload this video in 4K resolution? 1080p was the standard years ago, now it's becoming 4K.

The video link in the OP is totally invisible to me. There is just an empty space where the video thumbnail should be, and there is no link. I tried with Firefox and Edge browsers in Windows 10. But I see the video link in posts that quote the OP, but without the thumbnail, as just a regular link.

I didn't ask for a freebie, so Thank you for that ...

However ...

I already owned it, which just opens up a bunch of questions which I know you (Frontier) won't answer.

If I already owned it, do I get something else as a freebie? (the answer is no. Frontier are showing their Ebeneezer Scrooge side this year with no 12 days of Arxmas)

There's often a huge debate on here about people getting things for free things other people have paid for as an argument for not giving people the thing for free. Whether it's the Cobra mkIV or naming stations and systems as part of colonisation. Here you are giving people for free something other people have paid for. I'm not complaining, but I will use this when someone tries to tell me we (the players) can't have a thing because other people have paid for it.

Do we also get a free Anaconda to go with the free paint job. Pick up at Hutton Orbital.

I have been a an Elite commander since 198 on Acorn Electron.

Unfortunatley dont actively play the game due to not being able deal with the extremely long travel times. How do other players manage it. Please tell. The dev/DB dont expereince the game like the actual cmdrs who play in real time. There should be fast travel conduits via stargates . Play helldiver2 and you what fast travel is.

Some Fleet carriers sell there cargo at bellow cost mediated by online payment platform. Gold minners a tifer not sure if that was dealth wiyj

Wouldn;t it be coll to fly to planet zoo and Jurassic park drop of passenger materials?

The commander creator could even be a standalone smartphone app!

Not sure If ill ever get an actual anaconda

That operation did not solve the issue. It logged me out, and then when I reloaded the page, it asked only to allow notifications, not my cookie consent. Can I see my cookie settings for this site somewhere?
