As long as there's suckers to make spikes in the funding chart, there's no inconsistency here.

If its just about funding the game why are you disrespecting the owners of the previous version by saying loud and clear that their old ship is now trash and that you will no longer support it ?

Because your old money is gone since ages, and you old backer mean nothing unless you keep stabbing your wallet everytime CIG throws another jpeg.

Delightful to see people waking up and realize the Pied Piper playing a soothing lullaby in their dream is in fact a pickpocket with a vuvuzela.
Same for a SC streamer playing other games: like "deaf baby hearing sounds for the first time" meme.

There's an April Fool Arena Commander map been added to the PTU - it's set in a hab where you can fly around in ships and there is a mini-Arena Commander map on the hab table you can walk around. Pretty cool. Wonder if the elevators work :)

Mid-range SC streamers like Xero, Bog, Ender etc getting increasingly ground up in SC's gears is one thing...


But the sheer ennui of shiny-streamer Olli really is a bellwether for the current builds...


That guy could post 'THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING' about a Coramor codpiece.

But he ain't. He's posting 'EVERYTHING BROKE' vids instead...

I am afraid this is not just about "upper management lying or being incompetent". A ton of devs are on in the gaslighting too (03:47). And why wouldn´t they be. Their livelihood depends on it. If I was a CIG dev I would very seriously consider quitting or at least refuse in no equivocal terms to participate in this kind of misrepresentation.

Absolutely disgraceful.

Just to give context to how far back this goes, Angry Joe in the video references his friend, Spoony, and links to thespoonyexperiment.com - which Noah stopped doing ages ago. That's how far back this goes! When the Spoony Experiment was still a thing!
