Summary
System: Minerva
Station: Starlace Station (Coriolis Starport, large pads available, 463 Ls from main star, 70.23 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Deliver Copper, Computer Components, CMM Composites, Power Generators, Water Purifiers, Surface Stabilisers and Structural Regulators
Time limit: 6th March 3311 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Brewer Logistics has issued a request for deliveries to Starlace Station in the Minerva system.
Brewer COO Mark Rennik stated in a press release:
I have commissioned new additions to the Trailblazer megaship fleet, which will aid in supplying early colony claims. To ensure these megaships are ready for service and sufficiently stocked on time, we call for independent traders to bring specific commodities to Minerva so we can meet our planned two-week deadline.
Traders who wish to contribute to the initiative can hand in commodities to the Starlace Station in the Minerva system.
The following commodities have been requested:
  • Copper
  • Computer Components
  • CMM Composites
  • Power Generators
  • Water Purifiers
  • Surface Stabilisers
  • Structural Regulators
Brewer Corporation has committed to deploy a new trailblazer megaship for EACH TIER reached within the initiative. These megaships will be deployed at the edge of the core systems and will be stocked with commodities critical for colonisation efforts.
  • All participants will receive a unique ship Decal. Participants must register at least 1 contribution to be eligible.
  • Credit rewards will also be distributed according to individual contribution level.
The campaign begins on the 20th of February and will run for two weeks. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately. To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering the requested commodities to Starlace Station in the Minerva system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Starlace Station is orbiting planet Eris
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Social Space
  • Prices at Starlace Station:
    • Copper: 2,756 Cr/Unit
    • Computer Components: 3,100 Cr/Unit
    • CMM Composites: 23,948 Cr/Unit
    • Power Generators: 9,864 Cr/Unit
    • Water Purifiers: 1,936 Cr/Unit
    • Surface Stabilisers: 2,908 Cr/Unit
    • Structural Regulators: 7,732 Cr/Unit

300 million tonnes - that's quite a target. Allowing for the two-week duration, it's essentially equivalent to the previous record set in the Colonia Bridge CG series (also by Brewer...)

But ... central location, a whole range of high-supply bulk commodities available from the common Industrial and Refinery economy types, and CGs recently have been getting really high turnouts. So it could be done!

There’s also a little typo in the post.
Global Reward: One Megaship to be ceployed per tier
Says “ceployed” rather than “deployed”. Might leave this one to others, unless I feel like a basic contribution for the decal.

Colonisation is planned to go live mid-way through the CG isn't it? Presumably ppl will buy beacons on Wednesday -> get builder-ships turning up on the Thursday -> be supplying them with goods from then. Interesting to see if that happens and reduces CG participation. Or else fdev plan to announce Colonisation update is slipping a week 🤷‍♀️(Paul says not :) )

Edit:
The tiers make it look like they expect 7 support ships to be built :sneaky:

Edit2: T7 at 105M (ish)

Interestingly, just to tie back to the other thread a little... the wording of this CG suggests that the Trailblazers indeed do have a role to play in being staging posts for colonisation efforts and be "hubs" to spiral out from.

I think it's more 'hubs where commodities will be stocked in large numbers' rather than 'starting locations'. I guess we'll see.

My presumption is that, over time, they will jump further out, thus why the 10Ly radius might not be so detrimental. But yeah.

Time to go run one stack of massacres to pay my bounty off and get me a decal :)

You do know that some people will see this as a challenge?
Quoting myself, after a vsist to Inara: a tough challenge. There is only one station with a market in the system that is not under control of Pan Galactic Mining, and that's a ground settlement with a medium sized pad. And none of the other factions is currently even close to challenging Pan Galactic into a contest for system assets. FDev have really stacked the deck on this one.

Prices for selling the requested goods at Starlace Station:

Copper: 758 Cr/t
Computer Components: 853 Cr/t
CMM Composites: 6,586 Cr/t
Power Generators: 2,713 Cr/t
Water Purifiers: 533 Cr/t
Surface Stabilisers: 800 Cr/t
Structural Regulators: 3,234 Cr/t

@Flossy - this should make it easier to update the initial post with the prices.

Yeah so the protection CG will also keep things down, and the 25m pop, while not huge, also prevents chaotic swings.

Why are these CGs set for 2 weeks, when within 1 week they’ll launch a new mechanic and many players are expected to give it a try?

Are these materials requested by the current CG the tip to what would be required to build station in new colonies?

That was my thinking too. It would in essence create FD generated exploration and colonisation mini missions where people could stick along.

Well ... "set up a normal CG environment", rather than "stacked the deck". Last time round was highly anomalous in how easy it was to Lockdown compared with the norm.

Though I don't see why you need a system asset contest - flipping the controlling faction wouldn't affect the trade CG at all, and would keep the CG station in the hands of the default bounty-issuer for the system so wouldn't make a Lockdown easier to achieve (it might, depending on the precise setup, make the bounty CG very marginally harder)

Are these materials requested by the current CG the tip to what would be required to build station in new colonies?
Possibly. They're also a subset (except for CMM Composite, mainly the easier ones) of the "station repairs" commodity list.
