They're saying it is feature complete so surely the only element that will change is the costs of things right?

Surely if it is a beta, and this feature set includes things like positioning settlements on planets etc, they will want us to be able to feasibly get through to that part of the feature in the beta window, so I am expecting costs to be much LOWER than the final version that comes out of beta.

The goal is to let us colonise a handful of system AND exhaust the new feature set, so they get all the feedback.

That's what I would do if I were in their product team

They'll tweak:

• Cost
• Time to complete first star port
• The required materials
• Maybe distance
• ...

I love the Odyssey content, it was a shame they kind of cyberpunk'd the release, I blame capitalism though, not the hard working team. Same with Cyberpunk, actually

TBH, I'm not a big fan of Odyssey settlements or missions - but this one feels different.

I love the settlement gameplay, and powerplay 2.0 gave them even more meaning for me. But I'm also very excited about colonisation.
