I have a question. After delivering all the materials and building the station, do I have to wait with the next colonization jump from this sector until the station is launched and operable on Thursday?
No, the colony contact is active immediately.

If you meant from that system that you just colonized, I think that the answer is yes (barring some bug, of course). I think they said that the colonisation contact won't appear in the station until it has become operational.I have a question. Oh, I vividly remember them saying in the original announcement that the contact would only appear when the station becomes active after the thursday maintenenace break. No, the colony contact is active immediately.

BGS missions and station stuff will be after maintaince. Colonization and other normal contacts are available immediately.Oh, I vividly remember them saying in the original announcement that the contact would only appear when the station becomes active after the thursday maintenenace break.
Did they change it, or is it a bug?
Then don't do it personally. Incentivise others to do it... this is a collaborative task.“Dead end” gameplay means transporting goods from A-->B for tens or hundreds of hours. It's not fun, it's boring and even tedious. They called us "Architects", do you know at least one architect who personally transports goods to a construction site by truck?
First, try to earn this money. If it will cost 5-10 billions per system - ED credits will become valuable againThen don't do it personally. Incentivise others to do it... this is a collaborative task.
Yet still, "A->B hauling" is still something, compared to literally nothing, if you just paid NPCs.
Who'd have thought outfitting an entire solsr system with facilities for millions to billions of people might cost something?First, try to earn this money. If it will cost 5-10 billions per system - ED credits will become valuable again
Congratulations cmdr, in my understanding, “system colonization” is not one port, but an infrastructure of interconnected objects. Are you ready to repeat the construction another 10-15 times?finished building my very own ice station. It was fun, it wasn't boring and it wasn't tedious.
It seems to work at least within the bubble, from what people have reported.with this colonisation systerm, a faction can make expansion very easily, as when main starport is completed, the system is populated with factions, incuding the architect one.
does anyone know if a cmdr that make a colonisation far from his faction systems can expand his faction, like very far ?
Me personally? Yes. And lots of the non- dockable intra is only 5000t or so, and no time limit on any builds. So i can take all the time in the world.Congratulations cmdr, in my understanding, “system colonization” is not one port, but an infrastructure of interconnected objects. Heck, I've pulled random other PMFs into my new systems... likewise a quick build near an expanding faction could redirect their expansion. Not to mention a malicious architect building things that introduce vulnerabilities for a controlling faction.without limit, that would be a mess in the BGS.
i couldn't imagine a faction, a squadron, moving 200 LY in another one area...

the construction ship arrives and you and any other player can deliver goods to that colonization ship and when the list is complete ... the new port will be deployed. Initially for the space ports they will be in an under construction phase ... not all the people will be in place, some of the facilities will be turned off ... then on the Thursday it will spin up and be deployed into orbit.
Maybe I misremember... I thought it was Arx for the system, Station was by-default (apparently, there's already some... interesting... station names?)
