Elite Dangerous | Trailblazers - New Stations Operational Delay

I wonder.. if this is why my Claimed System, where i builded ..
Outpost : 1
Installation : 2
Settlements : 3

.. is now showing up as "previously established system" and i have no longer the Architectview for the system ?

Which system is this?
Col 359 Sector OR-V d2-83

but now, after relogging twice times, all is back in a good state and i am the Architect again...

confusing it is, isn't it ?

Wait... If you delayed the stations built this past week AND Commanders continue to build MORE stations, won't that cause an almost equally large "log jam" next week?

Your logic is not adding up.

They're "investigating a solution" - if whatever they end up implementing merely kicks the can down the road by a week, it wouldn't qualify as a solution.

I'm inferring that they're exploring ways to widen the floodgates, so to speak - either temporarily or permanently, whichever is needed to both a) clear the backlog and b) prevent new backlogs forming during busy times.

re: point b), it's hard to imagine once this initial rush has died down that there'll ever really be similar problems recurring in future, IMO. It'll almost certainly slow to a steady trickle that ought to be much more predictable and manageable long-term.

Mine randomly appeared when did the following...
  • from the System map
  • points of interest > click the crane ("construction"?)
  • pick one of the completed constructions still showing.
  • this selected it on the System map, albeit no icon there.
  • from one of the buttons in the right side i clicked Rename.
  • Rename dialog popped up - i just closed it, no rename required (I don't think it let me anyway)
  • after this i noticed the actual station was now shown on the system map now. Made it my nav target and flew there.

Hopefully those steps are right, and work for you.
Afraid not, no change here, but thanks for trying mate!!

EDIT : Now the issue has eventually miraculously fixed itself after 12 hrs.. Hurrah!

Greetings Commanders,

Since the release of Trailblazers, we have seen an impressive number of stations and outposts built by the community. However, this has had a significant impact on our weekly maintenance cycle, as each new station requires time during maintenance to become fully operational. As a result today's maintenance cycle was going to be significantly longer and we made the decision to bring the game back online.

The remaining stations will be made operational next week. While we are in Beta, we will continue to monitor this data to continuously improve Trailblazers.

We thank you for your patience, keep on building!

I definitely think that there should be a way to slow down colonization and incentivize building out existing colonies.
Perhaps a penalty to the cost of claiming new colonies based on how many empty or unfinished slots you have in your existing colonies?
For what benefit? Let people build out their colonies however they want. This game has enough penalties already thanks. The whole colonization update has been one massive penalty so far, thanks to zero documentation or communication. Last thing anyone needs is intentionally broken play mechanics on top of that.

Sadly I am no longer the architect of my system for some reason. I can still drop in materials to uncompleted projects but only as 3rd party. Colony galaxy map shows 0 colonies for me as well (like others have said). Was working fine till about 10am this morning too so go figure. Probably connected I've come across several planetary outposts in last few days that should have a normal commodities market going but for some reason unavailable. Systems in question were not in state of shutdown etc. Hope it gets fixed up soon

had the same prob, did log out to launcher 2 times and back in - suddenly all good have the archi-map again

Why not update every morning? Much faster, because there are fewer stations finished each day.

I would not like having to finish any % of the stations before being able to start another system.

Who would have thought that adding thousands of new systems, with thousands of new stations, with thousands of new markets and BGS to track would incur a challenge on an already heavily taxed server farm? Who would have thought that the update mechanics for a dynamic system might require substantial change from that of an entirely static system?

Od kilku godzin mam go tak jak na zdjęciu. Nie mogę zbudować kolejnej instalacji, ponieważ nie mam wolnego miejsca.

I've had it for a few hours now just like in the picture. I can't build another installation because I don't have any free space.

It appears that this shortcut towards the weekly tick has had several unintended consequences.

1. We have a systems where two stations should be operational, but aren't. So much for "intended". But now we can't flip the system and play BGS there.
2. We have encountered several instances of conflicts that do not resolve. Conflicts that are not being counted, although effort is being put in. Conflicts that are 3-0 but continue to run. etc.
3. The backlog of stations will be even bigger next Thursday, as we figure out how to build things fast.

So please remove the "becoming operational" from the weekly tick and move it over to the daily tick. Or just into a separate queue.

if the becoming operational process currently requires increasing the amount of time the servers are fully down, then it's pretty unlikely that it is a process that can be added to the daily 'tick' (since the servers remain online for that).

So I finished my first Scientific outpost. I jumped out and in again and immediately had a pretty well stocked High Tech market. I dunno what to tell ya!

Maybe it finds itself easier to get going when there aren't any bodies in the system.

I couldn't see the market from outside the system though, I guess the market comparison system has a tick all by itself.

No missions yet...

Outposts have specific economies

Outposts have fixed economies except the Civilian one. They aren't influenced by other facilities.
