System Colonization Assistance Megathread

Alright alright. The primary port at Crucis Sector UO-R B4-2 is actually doing really well. Its at 30 percent completion which is amazing considering its only been one week. I'd like to thank everyone who contributed so far, especially CMDR Sylveste who i know contributed a lot. I love this community.

The last 4 materials who require the biggest amount are left now, namely:

Steel 59371
CMM Composites 38381
Aluminium 34310
Titanium 19412

As you can see all of them have been reduced already from their original amount.
Again any help is greatly appreciated although i can actually finish it myself, i still have 3 weeks to do it. But, think of the profits. So if you happen to be closeby and wnat to do a haul of any of those, you'll be making money.

Steel, Aluminium and Titanium can be acquirred from the closeby Kamaki system, Shinjo station 13,79ly.
CMM composites can be obtained from the closeby Ch'iang Fei system, Cleave Vision settlement 19,39ly.

I have a question.
I got 5 bases, the primary outpost being the only exception, that have been completed. And yet nearby all 4 of these completed bases is the original construction site where l delivered the commodities.
Are they here to stay? Or will they eventually go?
The primary outpost has the colony construction vessel nearby it which is marked as inactive, will this also go?

The list is just getting pretty long and I'm pretty sure some of those people don't need help anymore. The owner doesn't have to be the one posting, if you're helping out and know that there is still stuff to be built say something so I don't take them off the list.

I specifically posted hip 72053 had no timer. I'm whittling away at it. Mostly it is the 30-59k metals that are daunting but I am not currently under a timer for this one.

Thanks for saying something. To clarify why I'm asking people to speak up, I can check the Timer on any system without visiting it but as far as I can tell I'd need to personally go to every system to check the detailed status of underway construction. So for the people on their first station it's easy to see if they still need help, but for everyone else I have no clue if you haven't gotten any help at all or if you've already finished and don't need help anymore.

No worries. That would be nigh on impossible to go visit everything. When the one I'm talking about is done, I'll be sure to pop a message about its status here.

It was the only non colonized system in the area (and in the fuel rats faction wanted to help them if I could). Full disclosure this may not be the best system I could have chosen first but I was determined to complete it. Unfortunately, adult life hit hard at my job had 80% of the team I'm on (including my boss) quit the same day, so my schedule going forward is not going to allow me to complete this. I would GREATLY APPRECIATE any help in crucis 6. Thank you commanders, safe flying!

No, you can see the status of construction remotely in two ways;

The circle around the construction site on the system map is actually a percentage, going clockwise from the 12 o'clock position, each segment lights up for every 10% done.

Also click the second icon on the right (planet with flag in as here) and you can see from System Map, even at a distance, what resources that station still needs.

There is also a progress bar there, but in this screenshot it's broken because I was using it to put in a bug report. The bar shows 100%, the Progress figure shows 0% and there are no resources listed because that station isn't even supposed to be there and came out of an Outpost that went horribly wrong.

That only applies to systems I can see the map for. Almost none of the systems people are asking for are ones I've been to so I don't have the ability to open the system map. That's what I meant by I'd have to visit them to see their status.

[Edited in:] That's also why I'm asking if you're helping someone or have helped someone say if they still need help. If you've ever visited them you can use the methods he just described to see if they still need help without physically returning to the system.

i actually got to do a little trade with my outposts in a T8. Soooo refreshing after trucking.

I now have four projects going, with a total of 95 runs to complete them. The Coriolis is the monster, with 65 runs to finish it. Not panicked. :)

I actually tried to start a surface hub (not settlement), and was told I didn't have enough cereal boxtops to start it. Annoying.

The station name in HIP 72053 is Down Below. The rest of the construction sites are small things to try to work with the new colonization info we have. No need to worry about those.

Congrats to Echoe at Hyades Sector LI-R B5-0! That was some serious CMM hauling overnight from someone or others.

Gamma-1 Octantis and LHS 2552 have 2 days and lot of resources to go. LHS 2552 is at 18%, it could be possible with a coordinated push, but I don't think Gamma-1 can make it at 3%.

Col 285 Sector ES-H B 11-5 already has the hard parts done at 62%, it just needs some bulk metal. We can definitely get this one built in the time remaining!

The owner doesn't have to be the one posting, if you're helping out and know that there is still stuff to be built say something so I don't take them off the list.

Anyways, I hope everyone keeps helping each other out. It's nice to see each time someone finishes their system.
