Could it...could it be?

So many more animals that I'd love, most notably:Sure, why not. I do think the one after this Coyote/Americas one will be the last, but I can always hope for more, there are still so many animals I wish were in game.
Yes, but your numbers are out. The Americas pack is DLC19. If we get another DLC in 6 months, it will be DLC20. Another console bundle could be released at the same time, or perhaps just before Christmas. Depends what their workflow is.I’m curious how the 2025 DLC structure will work now that PC and console are almost caught up with each other. If we keep on the current schedule, Barnyard and Zookeepers bundle will be available for purchase on console the last week of May. So either the Americas pack comes out for purchase on console by itself in July or, and I think it’s more likely, they’d hold it and release it as a bundle for later in the year with DLC21. DLC21 would mark the first new DLC for all platforms and would be the first time all players would get to experience a new pack together.
Thank you for the correction! Let me edit my post. lol.Yes, but your numbers are out. The Americas pack is DLC19. If we get another DLC in 6 months, it will be DLC20. Another console bundle could be released at the same time, or perhaps just before Christmas. Depends what their workflow is.
This DLC21 thread for Spring 2026 is very theoretical, probably unlikely, but hey you never know, we've been saying for ages now that it's about to end and its still going. There are still a lot of pack options, animals and updates that would probably keep selling.
It’s the 20th, starting from the Deluxe UpgradeThe Americas pack is DLC19.
It's very uhm-actually on your part, but if you really want to be pedantic about it you should say it's 21 because the music that was released on Steam is technically also "downloadable content".It’s the 20th, starting from the Deluxe Upgrade
There's also no reason to make the Deluxe pack part of a bundle. It's basically just Base Game 1.5It’s the 20th, starting from the Deluxe Upgrade
While true, the music also has zero gameplay impact. I could’ve sworn it was just part of the Deluxe Upgrade anyways, guess I was wrong about that.if you really want to be pedantic about it you should say it's 21 because the music that was released on Steam is technically also "downloadable content".
On a technicality, yes. But most people wouldn't consider it as a full DLC. It's more like a little bonus pack than a full DLCIt’s functionally no different than other DLC packs. It’s literally listed as DLC on Steam, excluding it is just arbitrary.
In this case, it's more like calling a spade a shovel. Yeah, they're the same, but you aren't gonna bundle a shovel and a spade together and call it a dayI don't see a reason to exclude it anyways. It is content you download after purchase, like any other DLC Pack. Excluding it because it's small just seems weird. Better to call a spade a spade IMO, even if "most people" disagree.
Simple, how you count something is often done by convention. The community as a whole pretty much agreed upon counting the DLCs by their corresponding update semver minor version and as the Deluxe Upgrade didn't come with an minor version of its own it isn't counted as a DLC like the others. Just a convention, kinda like how developers decided to start counting from 0 instead of 1.I really don't see any reason to leave out the Deluxe Upgrade based on quantity.
Lol okay if you want to start an entirely new counting system...at this point in the day. It’s the 20th, starting from the Deluxe Upgrade
The standard packs have a bunch of scenery pieces, though. As opposed to the Deluxe upgrade, which is only 3 animals and several other things you could find online, like the music and the wallpapers. If we're discriminating based on the amount of content, why would we then not further discriminate between scenery and animal packs? The Animal packs with scenery have more content than ones with an exhibit animal, but we say they're all DLC packs. I really don't see any reason to leave out the Deluxe Upgrade based on quantity.
Would the African leopard then be a DLC animal? It didn't get its own anniversary folder like the other ones. That ends up falling apart too. So something that's clear and unambiguous would be thus: if it is listed on this page and has a purple side banner labelled "DLC", then it is DLC.The community as a whole pretty much agreed upon counting the DLCs by their corresponding update semver minor version and as the Deluxe Upgrade didn't come with an minor version of its own it isn't counted as a DLC like the others.
