I don't know what kind of repairs you're talking about. You only spend money on ammo

In this game, pirates pose no threat at all. Shooting pirates is like a shooting gallery.
ship repairs.... mostly minor... no biggie.

and yeah. its pretty much a massacre. happy flying CMDR. :)

ship repairs don't cost that much either. And this is pirates in HAZ res sites. not Threat 7 Pirate Lords or Warzone Spec Ops.
Which is why it baffles me why some people are so PHOBIC of having "weaker" shields from adding a KWS to their hunt build.
I've learned the value of having high hull HP. and was in a fight with 3 different pythons and an anaconda. in total only lost 50% hull hitpoints. I was going to kill a 2nd anaconda but sadly my missiles ran out.

threat level 7 pirates can be... problematic. haz res are easy, pay is pretty much the same, but i dig the easy life with my Latvian brandy and pew pew... its become an OCD..

but yeah, i kill warrant scanner is a must. and also agree you're going to lose shields anyway.... prepare for it.. 🙃

Still time to get in on the CG and register to get that kws. would be super useful to check which mining ships or trader ships... or in fact ANY clean ship... has a bounty on them!

Doesn't work that way. The only bounties that count for the CG are those specifically issued by Dhan Empire League. Bounties picked up by a KWS are always issued by not the controlling faction (and can be from a faction whose nearest presence is several jumps out). Don't bother with clean ships.

As a matter of fact, I selectively turn in only Dhan Empire League bounties at Kidd Station. I stack bounties issued by all other factions and take them with me to an Arissa fortified/stronghold for a nice fat 40% bonus payout. I don't actually need the additional credits, I just like a sweet deal

Yes, you'd think that, based on the text for the CG in the OP, which explicitly states that.

I just fired up the game to see exactly what it says, and it's a tad less prescriptive but still says "The Bounty Vouchers must have been awarded by either the system's controlling faction, or the major faction aligned with the system controller." In this sentence, it doesn't define "the system" but it seems reasonable to assume that it means Dhan.
However, this is NOT how the CG works in practice, and you can collect bounties elsewhere... (I have no idea why.)

I followed the advice in these posts:
Dhan has a Haz RES.
Dhan Empire League only has that one system with a RES. But bounties issued by other Empire-aligned minor factions do count.

Advanced Biochemical Innovations in Michel is spawning pirate attack scenarios (for now) that count.
Yes, I have ~80M in CG credit from Likedeeler of Michel.
My FC is parked about 2 Ls from Advanced Biochemical and has R/R/R.
...and earned over 20M in bounties from the pirate attack scenarios at Advanced Biochemical. Bravo @forbiddenlake :) (and btw, how did you figure out that you didn't have to collect the bounties in Dhan?)

On that note actually, I know there are only a couple of days left, but I wonder if the text in the OP should be tweaked to help people understand that it's not just that one faction that counts:
Hand in Bounty Vouchers for Dhan Empire League

Oi, this is why I test when I get out of work and why I post on page 1. While you're right historically, recently (where recently is in the past couple of years) they have had some that expand on that, and for this one bounties issued by empire-aligned minor factions do count. 90% of my 115m CG contribution have been from Likedeeler of Michel and random KWS additions.
You've missed out on additional CG credit if any of those other bounties were empire-aligned.

Sorry didn't quite understand the sagging of shields under fire when installing a criminal scanner?
Are you using non-combat ships?

If they install the scanner they have to remove the shield booster that was in that utility slot, which will make the shields weaker when under fire.

Just saw this. Part knowing how previous CGs worked, part reading the text, and mostly actually testing ingame by earning multiple vouchers and slowly turning them and and checking CG progress.
Bounty CGs have never(?) been restricted to just the system, but usually to a single minor faction (which sometimes does translate to one system only); it's the other superpower-aligned minor factions counting that is (relatively) new.
BHing is one of my favorite activities so I've been finding RES/CNB/scenarios that count for years.

apologies I wasn't very clear on what I meant...
I more meant collect bounties TO GET the kws then AFTER the CG slap on the KWS and scan mining ships to see which is wanted with a quick 2 second scan at range.

(My language skills are not always great, I'm much better at 3d modelling,)

I only have nearly 30mil collected!
I've been too busy with various things! Neighbours had a break in, helping some family with building modifications to a car, doing laundry, working on an animation...
(jkjk) please extend the CG for another 2 weeks please! (jkjk)

I know that, are the other 5 or 7 slots not enough?
Most ships only have the 4 slots to use, and some can't easily make up for the difference with GSRPs owing to lack of optional internal slots & spare power.

KWS have become of stronger interest with having a benefit to gaining PP 2.0 merits, though.

Most combat ships (ships designed for combat) have 8 or 6 slots. A small portion of warships have 4 slots: FAS, Vulture, etc. If a person hunts pirates on a non combat ship (Mandalay, Python1, Corsair) it is his own fault and there should be no claims.

Are you saying the Krait MKII to and the Chieftain should not be considered combat ships?

KraitMk2 is not a warship, it's an all-purpose ship. The combat Chief is very weak what is the point of using it to shoot pirates?

Among medium ships it is easy to determine which is a combat ship and which is not, it should have either 6 utility slots or it should be compensated by combat slots.
