Having researched a bit, I need to try and find a nice system to expand out. My current one I've done a lot to and learnt much including what I should not have done such as icy bodies everywhere and misplaced or poor selection of what to build

It's clear to me now, that a select few CMDR's must have early access to the Panther Clipper Mk.2 for some time now...

Is it even possible to ship all the needed resources to the Buildingship without a carrier in time? In 2 Days I made 2% progress thats way too less for a single person to be done in 27 days, or am i not getting it right.

Without a vanguard carrier, to build a large station you have to carry resources from morning to evening for 28 days. I build about 40% per week with just a vanguard carrier.

Good questions, CMDR, I'll give my two cent's:

1. "Is it possible to ship..."
   1. This is a complicated questions, and the unreasonable answer is; It depends ("1)
2. "In 2 days..."
   1. You've answered this yourself; at current speed, this colony will fail.
3. ", or am I not..."
   1. We need more details on what you're doing:
      1. What are you building?
      2. What are you flying?

         1. System
         2. Distance to the primary port
         3. Distances to supply stations
            1. LY & LS
         4. Your avg. daily gametime

If you know what you're doing, then yes. If not, then you've come to the right thread to ask for actual hauling assistance. If hauling assistance is what you desire, then please add as stated in the OP:

"I only ask for one Rule: When posting your System, give a Reason as to why people should help you Colonize your System and please update your post should your Main Station be finished."

I think it's safe to say that without each and everyone of the commanders listed below this colonisation effort would have ended in abject failure.

As I mentioned previously, a real life emergency meant I was offline for nearly a month. When I finally logged back in I was expecting the progress to be stuck at 1%, so I was blown away when I saw the it stood at 43%... and this without you guys being aware of my emergency!

So one more time, a huge thanks to all the commanders that helped a fellow commander in his hour of need o7

Hey guys,
I need help with building my Station in:
COL 285 Sector LD-O B2 1-1

The Sector has an Asteroid Belt so its a nice spot to mine. Its also very close to important Spots. Would be great if anyone could help me building the Station as Im not part of a Faction and otherwise have to get the ressources on my own.

As i already said this is the System. My ship is a Cutter with 792 Cargo Space. The Station is 60kLS away from the central Star so thats quite far. The next Station i get the needed Ressources from is 3 Jumps away. Would be great if someone could help me.

Basically, the problem that you have is that you are trying to build one of the largest stations at such a distance from the main star (60,000ls) which is causing long traveling times.

Even with a carrier or assistance from a carrier you are still talking a major undertaking to complete that station, I can offer some assistance, but no guarantee's

Depending on IRL stuff I should be able to finish loading my FC and make deliveries tomorrow evening.

So I took a short break from Elite and came back just recently. In the older days I tried to manipulate "BUS Hub" - Stations in the game to my ideas but was overruled by private player faction interests ... Now it appeared to be possible again and I found myself a nice little starsystem AC +24 44 close by I wanted to build my own station (BUS Hub) at.

One triple elite Eliteer does not read any guides - he goes in blind! And for sure, it should be a nice spinning shiny thing with rings!
What could possibly go wrong, eh?

Just later I found out it is hell a **** of materials needed and got a time limit - not the best circumstances for a sun-down-warrior like me

So if anyone would like to help - I am about 20% in by starting with euphorical midnight sessions - which I will not be able to keep in that frequency, missing sleep is kickin in already...

Got the tiny stuff out of the way - at the moment still needed:

Steel - 63,793
CMM Composite - 53,376
Aluminum - 45,491
Titanium ~ 35,000 (currently working there)

Usually found in masses in 1-jump-away systems

So if any found himself nearby an got the muse to bring in a few bits here and there that would highly be appreciated!

All this colonization cargo moving has really streamlined the process. I found out I can move 40kt cargo a day in the background during that CG. I'll put that to work towards the list this weekend!

The Building Progress is already at 38%. Thx to everyone who already sent some resources. Despite the good progress I still need some help with building the Station in the COL 285 Sector LD-O B21-1. So everyone with a Carrier please send resources to the Station. It needs everything it can get.
