If that were the case I'd be quite annoyed and would certainly voice my disapproval!....but I can't see any valid reason why Frontier would in all honesty do this.or do you HAVE to buy the stellar edition?
New cargo holds, that only work in those Panther Clipper slots will be available in the market.
Everybody can buy it, but only players that paid have the ship (19020 or 38000ARX for stellar) can install it because own a valid ship. Like Vip cabins if you don't own a Saud Kruger ship.
Hmm... can you really buy a module if you can't install it in your current ship?Everybody can buy it, but only players that paid have the ship (19020 or 38000ARX for stellar) can install it because own a valid ship. Like Vip cabins if you don't own a Saud Kruger ship.
You can buy and store itHmm... can you really buy a module if you can't install it in your current ship?
This would be an excellent opportunity to play with special modules as another ARX option, and also a sneaky way to introduce them.I have a question, will you be able to buy the high density cargoholds for regular credits on the market, or do you HAVE to buy the stellar edition? Also, is the intention to only have the special cargoholds available on the ARX version of the ship?
Yes, that has been introduced a long time ago already. Which would have given me the opportunity to actually buy a size 8D FSD a while ago, but with the Panther only having a size 7 slot, I'm happy that I didn't.Hmm... can you really buy a module if you can't install it in your current ship?
I've made a mistake calling myself that on occasion, haven't I.Uncle Helmut
Just one sleep 'til Clippymas![]()
If it’s a ‘standard’ update patch I’d expect it the game to come online again between 12 and 3pm ‘in-game/utc’ time. If it’s a larger job it could be 5pm ‘in-game/utc’ time. Those are just estimates based on previous updates though and are fairly meaningless. The true answer as far as I’m aware is a simple ‘no,’ we’re not aware yet.Hi All
Do we (as players) know what time on Tuesday Frontier will release the ship in question by any chance?

Its our fault, we didnt work the CG fast enough. Not enough bytes to draw all the ships for the releaseThere isn't even a downtime/patch announcement yet.
It's odd that the cg is still on but.. I believe the ship is still scheduled to release 22 July. Its our fault, we didnt work the CG fast enough. Not enough bytes to draw all the ships for the release![]()

I'm hoping that won't be the case with the clipper, and honestly never for any modules. That would be the essence of pay to win. This would be an excellent opportunity to play with special modules as another ARX option, and also a sneaky way to introduce them.
If the Panther release goes according to schedule it'll be hilarious to see Panthers doing their own release CG for the last 2 days of it. I might have to visit the station bar in open and watch out for any![]()
Do we know that for a fact or are you just assuming?New cargo holds, that only work in those Panther Clipper slots will be available in the market.

We know that for a fact from the Frontier Unlocked stream - special modules that can only fit in the special slots. You can probably just buy the Mk.II cargo racks to storage, but you cannot do anything with them unless you have a PC2. Refer to this bit if you need a refresh of memory.Do we know that for a fact or are you just assuming?
