New ship: Panther Clipper

From the content creator perspective it makes some sense to use more engaging material for videos. Whether exploration qualifies is up to the beholder, but I’m not surprised they went with combat showoffs. It’s not as if you have a lot of material to work with in hauling…

… not that I’m necessarily excusing it. Even a brief segment throwing some numbers out would probably suffice.
I expected they would, but I I figured someone would try it out in it's primary role supplying colonisation. Don't get me wrong, but it is good to know what it's capable of in other areas of the game.
I know a certain cmdr who's gonna load it up with 1,000t of meta-alloy and fight a hydra in it.
Yeah, but it's a given that he would...

Nice and fast job with the hardpoint Frontier, and I like new place for that, I was hope for hardpoint on the leg.
But - shadows layer is flickering in some situations - like planet surface flying.

Wait they actually managed to move the hardpoint in that short period of time? Didn’t expect such a quick turn around for that, honestly nice work on them.

It's a shame that the PC2 update has removed all the discounts from modules. No 10% in Shin Dez and no 15% in LYR systems. :( Only Elite 2.5% and Founder 2.5% seem to be working at the moment.

EDIT: After some reports by other Cmdrs. and checking prices against EDSY myself, it has been confirmed that this is only a cosmetic bug with the discounts not being shown, but they are still applied.

Ship is not bad, but it has a few niggles.

My engineered ship

Cargo capacity 1152t
Jump range 33.44ly full and 51.28ly empty
Boost speed 377 empty, 350 full ( can boost all the time with 5A G5 charge enhaced)
Weak shields for bumps and scrapes
Has fuel for 10 jumps.

Issues: I find supercruse flight jarring due how the ship roll works, rotates super fast for a split second the instant slow turns. It does not feel natural. The view is quite restrictive, but i'm not that bothered about it.

I noticed the text detailing the discount had gone, but I thought the discounts were still applying.
Do I need to change my glasses? 🤔

I noticed that there is no Kickstart discount shown either. Only the Elite and Founder discounts being shown in Shin Dez, but not other places. The Kickstarter discount should be available everywhere.
