Panther Clipper Mk II Update | Available Now

Is the PC not available for purchase out in Colonia? I see it listed in numerous stations in the bubble but the Colonia region got screwed.
(Yes, I already bought a Stellar one with Arx. I want to build a 2nd one)
 
Is it just me, or did FDEV perform a lobotomy on the Advanced Docking Computer? With my unshielded Cutter or Panther Clipper, it normally gets into the station without problems. When leaving, it bumps into structures on the inside of the station and takes damage.

My T9 has the same problem in some stations. Those problem areas usually had extra structures and scaffolding along the exit path.

I hope all these icon bugs are sorted out before station Interior cosmetics are introduced, with all the variations of interior decorations and interior station themes if these icons don't perform perfectly we'll all be in a right pickle.😏

Customisation can still be accessed, but since some people are being foxed by the cunning single-blank-icon-not-selected-by-default I've popped in a tracker entry for it.

Thanks for posting that up as I've not customised any of my station builds exteriors at the moment, and wondered what the problem was.
I'm (seriously hopeful) that one of the exterior customisations for Coriolis cosmetics might be based loosely on similar lines to the survey packs (link).


A kind of 'theme' if you like....plenty of solar panels, the actual themed paint colours and of course sticky out bits! :LOL:...I think it would look pretty good if designed well...just a random thought.

About the only large ships available in Colonia are the Anaconda and Type 9, as the superpowers aren’t present the Corvette and Cutter being absent isn’t a surprise but that doesn’t explain why the Type 10 and Beluga aren’t there but that absence makes this news less surprising though still annoying for those out in Colonia.

they really need to allow colonization around colonia. a station i built sells PCMk2's sheesh
 
I think someone pointed out (perhaps in another thread) that this update has introduced a sound problem, and it indeed is happening. Play enough hours, and sound after sound stops working.

At this moment I have a bunch of in-game sounds that either are cut short, or don't play at all. For example when jumping to another system the sound plays for about a second and then stops and goes completely silent. The selection sound that's played on various situations (such as selecting on-screen targets) plays for a small fraction of a second, but is cut short. When "honking" a system (ie. using the d-scanner), no sound is playing: Neither when charging up the d-scanner, nor the "honk" itself. It's completely silent.

Quitting the game completely and restarting it helps, but there's definitely something wrong.

Sounds like a great CG. Start colonizing in a straight line from the bubble to Colonia and see how quickly we can create that string of system. :LOL:

The big groups are already working on their chains.

It is achievable.
(Presuming the limit of 4 active construction sites at the same moment is for one system only, right? If you have 4 active constructions and jump into your another claimed system, it's free for starting new constructions?)

Then all it takes is to claim new system, finish a quick Outpost, start any other construction to serve as a large pad refueling station, and move to the next system on the route to rinse and repeat.
 
This may have come with the new update. I was scanning a mega ship for power play points, 6 thargoid scouts and a cyclops popped in and attacked the mega ship. Lots of escape pods were ejected for pick-up. I collected the pods and jumped to my fleet carrier for my ax ship popped back and killed a bunch of thargoids. More showed up after a bit. It was fun I have missed the buggers. I was in the bubble at a colonized system. I hope this wasn't a glitch. o7 all
