Probably playing the game.
Started at launch in 2014, joined the forums in february 2015 and hopped back on 2 days ago after a few years of hiatus.

Decade club for me.
But also the four-decade club, growing up on the 1984 game and sequels, as I know some of the other decade crew did too
I also based my holo-me on myself at the time, but it didn't age and I did. The difference became too much and I recently gave in and edited it to look a lot older

I reup my carrier every year or so but it's difficult to find joy in the repetitive game loops. Plus the switch2 came out recently so been playing that and before that it was many play thru's of bg3. Elite doesn't win often when it comes to game choice these days.
Started playing ED in beta, late 2014 (when I joined the forums). Still play on and off, pottering around flying spaceships and killing pirates, occasional exploration forays... Still get a sense of wonder at times playing in VR.
Played FE2 back in the day starting in the early 1990's and played that on and off for the best part of a decade. Only made Elite once in all that time and still have fond memories of that game. First time I landed on a planet I think it took me a whole day to get it right!!

September 2013, quite late to the party in the sense I played in 1984, then played FFE and Oolite sometime between 2005-2013 while this forum existed. I can't remember how I heard about kickstarter just that I was too broke (too cheap maybe?) to become alpha backer. Still haven't gotten over that.
Well, if we count the whole franchise, I'm club 41. Played Elite in 1984 on a friend's Atari 800XL before I got it myself on a C64 two years later. It was my entry to gaming. And of course I've played FE2 and FFE in their time, mainly FFE, because it came out so shortly after FE2 and had an actual (now retconned) story.
I just checked and have been a member here since April 2nd 2015
Been playing since beta. Bought the game on the 24th of October 2014. Joined here six days later, so I've been around for 11 years now. I was gone for a very long stretch in the middle though. I only came back recently.
I played the original Elite back in the '80s on my old Amstrad too. Although I missed the sequels until E: D came along.

Since early 2015, i heard abouit the kickstarter around 2011, but forgot about it and got surprised when it launched in late 2014. Since them i keep playing and lamenting on the forums.
