Went in after trying for a while bought 8K cr of fish. Launched to go sell it as I went through the letterbox the station just decided to do the Shimmy, shimmy shake (you have to be ancient like me to know that reference), and then I was in space looking at the station without a ship.

Cried over a lost Cobra, cried more over lost fish, then cried more when it asked me if I wanted to go bankrupt when I still have 45K left in the bank. Then it kicked me. I think ED hates me or is that paranoia?

They have server side problems... anyone of you even looked once into the logfiles?
Probably not or you'd seen that there is a "http 500 error" inside.
That means their webserver is having a severe version of "server-ebola"... their server-code is buggy and can't process the client requests without crashing.

I was happy to play too... but now it's time for sitting down in a chair getting a book and something to drink and relax. :)

Most important thing is to have stability when the game launches in december.

wow did I have a weird run when they introduced that fix... Nobodies fault I know the update can do strange things. I was trading with the hauler when the first thing happened I entered the station not sure if I forgot to get permission or not. I got blasted then restarted to find some huge fines then paid them only to leave the station with a huge bounty on my head then I returned to get blown up again then a button claiming bankrupt then after the server upgraded I was fine. Then I continued on to find all my missions went missing and then log in failure. I am glad they discover these small errors and fix them right away by resetting saves writing out a ticked every hiccup.

I got fined and blasted for loitering, while parked inside the hangar. This game is so launch ready.

I've got back to the main screen but start in red, well that's an improvement at least!

hmm start working but load is not, well one step at a time I guess..

Depending on your type of routers, and the router of another player you're trying to connect to, they're sometimes not able to set up a direct UDP connection, in which case (without upnp) it will fall back to relaying traffic via a TURN server - this will take up to 15seconds longer to establish the link. Enabling UPNP will allow the game to control port mapping within the router.

From my network logs it looks like in the absence of upnp you're doing a full RFC5245 ICE exchange, with the TURN server as connection method of last resort. Is this correct?

So... really, the reason is because someone might find it offensive?

In that case, i find this a very annoying change. Are they implying my surname is offensive? I find that offensive!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cox_(surname)

If it is the reason, then i can see some potential for trolling here though. Let's pick a common in game name, and start using that in place of the censored F word. In fact, how about Jameson?

eg: Well, why don't you just go Jameson yourself! Yeah, you and which Jamesoning army? I got completely Jamesoned last night!

As we all know, English is defined not by committee, but by common usage. If we all work hard at this, i think within a year we can get the OED to define Jameson as a swear word, and FD will have to remove all references to it! :D

Issue here is that nobody from Frontier explains why this is happening and when they will fix it (aprox). This would save them and us time and nerves.
