Pioneer Latest version added. Both run from the game launchers.

as I've said before if one site has it and is doing a good job of displaying it why reinvent the (Dark) Wheel?

hard for me to tell at the moment as i'm stuck on a laptop screen until i get my main pc back next week but i may have to trim the amount of news on each page to shorten them down a little, i can archive the older ones easily enough.

as for width the center column is fluid so should expand with the size of the page to accommodate the width of the screen (I hope) - that may be what you refer to when you say stretched.

apart from that though have you had a look at it on Android? the long page looks class on a Galaxy S3

considering i picked up HTML for the first time in about 6 years little more than two months ago i consider that high praise indeed

as for updates the menu on the right has the headlines while the central box has the summery or in the case of FD the full story as the tumblr feed has an empty summery tag.

i did plan on putting a roller on the right side box as well but short of duplicating the javascript and renaming all the variable i have no idea how

I tried a horizontal ticker across the top but found after a few mins that together with a few other other moving parts I have planned made me feel seasick

by the time the next video comes out i'll have added the Youtube feed to the front page as well as shortened the amount of news from each source by applying an ellipsis to cut the main content off at around 100 words a post.

it's only Java - how hard can it be?

Nice - one thing on the images are the thumbnails generated on the fly?

If they were pre-rendered the page would load quicker on slow connections (like work!)

yup, my site runs on the Modx Revolution Content management framework so there is a database and Lots of server side code in use, there is hardly a page on it that doesn't update via an RSS feed of some type.

Ye I realise my front page needs an update
Its been on there since the kick starter but I did once add a video and got so much flak as " Never have a video opening on your main page " I took it off

The teaser is on the main page but you have to click to play...Problem is there isn't really any video updates to impress at the moment....so I haven't really found anything amazing to replace it....

But your right....I do need to perhaps change the same old look on the main page

Unlikely....cost me £40 out of my own pocket for the software to make that...
Cant speak for the Mac one as I didn't create it.....but had no bad feedback so far....

Could be a false positive maybe ?

nothing detected here, Mcaffee have a rep for false positives though, back in 2010 they sent an update out to corporate customers that identified a core Windows file as infected and sent the machines into boot loops as it had quarantined a file required to start the PC

I have McAfee, set to constantly monitor my system and installed both the Elite Logo and The Return Of The Cobra. Performed scan of initial downloads, installed both screensavers, ran both screensavers and finally scanned the folder containing both. No results from McAfee. Perhaps the Mac version of McAfee is different in some way to the Windows version?

Well that's at least one other MacAfee user who came up clean...Not sure what Andys Using...Of course im assuming you downloaded it from EF and were not given it by somebody ?

depends who you ask, AVG and Virgin Media security (from trend micros) both show the file is clean but to be on the safe side i uploaded it and the return screen saver to metascan-online.com and had them scanned by 43 different anti virus engines, the results below are for the logo,as you can see from the results your PC's anti virus got outvoted 43 to 1 I'm waiting on the cobra to complete it's scan but don't expect any surprises
