Elite: Dangerous Wallpapers

That's naughty.
if they are fan made (I can't see Frontier offering silk print, maybe someone with a poster from Frontier could expand on this) then they are not to be sold at a profit (I have asked Ashley about this for my own reasons)

If they are prints from Frontier, that were bought from Frontier, and put on Amazon as 2nd hand goods, then maybe that's OK, but it's really not for me to say, that's one for Ashley or Micheal to comment on.

I'm assuming this isn't in the realms of being naughty, but I've gone and made the ED wallpapers my dynamic wallpaper for my Ubuntu box. If anyone else wants them or the code to do that feel free to give me a PM.

Barclays allow its customers to have their own picture printed on the Barclay debit / credit card.

Would it be ok to use the Elite Dangerous logo on a card like this?

That's fine as long as you are not charging anything for it and there is proper attribution for the images.

Michael

At the moment it's just sitting on my laptop :) Ubuntu (in my opinion) play silly ******s with dynamic desktops, so all it really is, is some XML. But I'm happy to share that with anyone to save them the effort...

@Ashley - are there any more wallpapers available? I would love a 1080 of the background in the fiction diary #5....

[EDIT - It's in newsletter #11 - Thank you Ashley :)]

Snagged this from the latest email update, desktop image finery at its best. Any Elite fan should have this :D

This is not approved by us. Very naughty.

Michael

If FD offered legit, reasonably priced alternatives then there wouldn't be such a market out there Michael. I agree selling such unauthorised items is wrong and understand this is in breach of your copyright but £20 for a mug on the backers site with no preview of what it looks like or a clear delivery date, is it any wonder people will make their own or look for alternatives?
