What do you think, release is in 2 days and the game is broken with all these recently introduced bugs. They simply have to fix them before launch and have them tested by us if Elite is to have a chance in reviews.

Anyway I'm glad they're taking this as seriously as they should.

I'd expect them to be working during the weekend, but not actually releasing minipatches until monday.


Also "any chance in the reviews" is an exaggeration - I've played far, far worse games on release and those games survived launchbugs just fine.

I don't really deal with the launcher but I thought the game installed wherever you installed the launcher?

Hmm, if that's the case then it hasn't been advertised at all. Maybe it was changed in the last launcher update a few days ago, problem is to find out would require a total uninstall/reinstall which is something I haven't done in ages. Might do it on Tuesday for 1.0.

For Federal permits it's done on rank. For independents (or a few special cases) you need to build your reputation with the controlling minor faction. You will find them in neighbouring systems.

How about "military plans", Rare Art, Rebel transmissions missions? Not being able to turn them in has tanked my Rep. I'm afraid to do anything but Delivery missions at the moment. I know they work..

Not begging for easy mode at all, just simply asking when a bug will be fixed.... it has already been acknowledged that there is a bug by the dev's.....
