Patch Notes Update Gamma update 2.05 incoming

Hi,

Gamma 2.05 is incoming. Everyone will be moved off the server at 5pm GMT and the servers will be off for up to 45 minutes.


- Scrolling with the Game Pad in a module slot in Outfitting causes the highlight to disappear

Nope. Only SOLO results in a spinning ship. I can start OPEN PLAY with upnpenabled just fine. SOLO doesn't work regardless of the setting.

Spinning ship here too. Never happened before. When I turn on bandwith display (ctr+b) i can see there is still data being exchanged with the server (no idea if that helps but data volume roughly looks like this: send=30 recv=200 B/s)

I am stuck, too. Tried the changing in the App file but nothing is working for me. Also tried to load in solo, open and group play.

open the task manager, you probably have a ELITEangerous Executable (32bit) laying around, kill it and the play button should return (not that it helps with the spinning ship)

I tried that already but the only 'elite' running is the launcher still nothing!!

I've tried setting upnpenabled and port (again, it apparently got reset) in AppConfig.xml but still have spinning ship.

Hi all,

Could those of you who are having a problem loading into game where you are getting stuck with a spinning ship change your AppConfig.xml from

upnpenabled="1"

to

upnpenabled="0"

and try again, and let me know if that works for you.

Your AppConfig.xml file can be found in the same place the Elitedangerous32.exe resides.

PLEASE stop raising tickets guys.... if your posting in the forum read the previous posts. your only wasting dev time with pointless tickets......................

This is exactly what the ticketing system is for...so by all means enter a ticket. It helps the devs. track issues. The more detail and number of tickets they have for a specific problem, the easier it may be to locate the cause and fix it quicker.
