Hum... I thought I had fallen victim to the OSOD for the first time ever - but after quite some time, I found myself in the cockpit. Strange.

Couldnt play yesterday because of a failed patch and cant play again because of another patch trying to fix the last one. Nice going, Ive not played this much eve for ages. Keep it up.

Rath I think they are going for show stoppers like the mission bugs and crashes. They will have more time to work on trading and balancing after launch.

I can't even get into Elite Dangerous most of the time. I am presented with a black screen without the option to even ALT+TAB.... When I DO get in, I am getting spinning ship in Solo mode.

FD: Please add some DEBUG info like "attempting to connect to xxx..." in a small console or box.
Also, it should not be like this in startup with a black screen.

Will we see Founding Members of the Elite benefits and decals on release?

Was obviously a significant driver to dropping as much as £175 on the game last year.

Indentured servitude is still slavery, but now it's given an air of legitimacy by stating that they sold themselves into slavery thanks to a debt they have.

In my case it helped - like several times in the past - to validate the game files!
You can do this in the Options of the launcher.

Im in,
switch back to "1" saved and started up on Open play kicked in first try.

Problem is I dont have funds to cover the loss of my Lakon and cargo.... might buy a sidewinder and run missions.

Edit,
Had a brain wave and quit to menu re-entered on Solo play and got in easy :)

Thank you so much Michael! You guys deserve a break!

I hate to ask you this and feel so selfish but I am missing playing. Today my beloved python stuck in the letter box of a station and would not move. I was using the docking computer after a trade run. Lost everything including my goods. Just wondered if this was fixed as I am so scared to go out again. Took 9 million credits :(

Anyway, I am sure you don't have time but thought I would be cheeky and ask.

Good luck on lauch all too!

I got in by logging in to Open Play which worked normally then quitting to menu and Logging back in to my Private Group, no probs now.

spinning as well..

is the fix for the spinning ship require server side update/fix or this is just the after effect of the patched servers and we should just wait?

dont use a docking computer. waste of a module and ai cant even dock safely.

I have the Eagle of Eternal Spin too.

Was trying to make one last YT video before main release. Never mind. You guys are working very hard, and I'm sure you'll fix it in no time. I do appreciate the hard work and long hours, and after waiting since the 80s... it will take a lot more than a few glitches to dull my enthusiasm.
