Had Tea, Coffee, Beer, and lots of other (legal) stuff. Still OSODing. Got kicked out of the servers due to their upgrade with four missions pending. I think I am going to face some hefty fines when I will be able to log in again.

Anyway: Thanks ED for even working weekend to fix stuff - and I am sure you are going to fix the rest, too. I had already so much fun playing so that this is just a minor annoyance.

what i have learned from my spinning ship:

after 5 mins. it starts to become clear that a type 6 is very similar in shape to a brick.
i also found out that it has heat vents on the sides instead of the top as most fighters have.
and it has a cockpit between the two huge backwards thrusters.

most of them are obvious but i would like to point it out just for the fun of it.

After multiple tries unable to get into open or solo..... after fiddling with the suggested UpNp setting, and with anti-alias, etc. No luck.

Then restarted client, validated files, and I can get into open play. Quit to menu, and can get into solo play. So maybe try validating files?

Yep, everything is working now. Went to Open Play, Save & Exit to main menu, back into Solo play. The sky is no longer falling.

Man...that's a tough call...For me, I think it depends on my mood.

This plus running in Open instead of Solo worked for me. Neither worked prior to the edit.

Can not get into solo or open either, but I can get into training.

I tried the upn change and validating game files. Changed upn back to 1 also.

Nothing works.

This seems to do the trick!
Additional:
Started with Open play, do not exit the session/client (EliteDangerous32) completely, just exit with <esc> and select "Save and Exit to main menu". The goto solo. Works, ok, now back to trading....

That was a little too exciting, finally got in, so it is time to pass out! Running out of days, before the big day! :)

Sadly... this has broken my install and I am sitting at the spinning ship again permanently. Haven't seen this since Beta1!

The validation worked for me. But I have had multiple disconnects since, which has interrupted my trackir5 demo vid :)
