Community Event / Creation The bridge of the ship at home

Recently got a new desk, so the set-up is not completely finished - still have to get a small wheeled thingummy (basically a bit of wood board with wheels underneath - cannot think of a proper English word for it) by the table to put the computer case on so that it does not take room from the desk itself.

@Susimetsa.....another great desk! that is almost the perfect set-up...a fridge for munches and beer, and a gun to shoot anyone who dares comes to the door and interrupt your gaming sessions! ;)

@drew....you are the most sophisticated amongst us for sure, nice desk and love your own placed books(will check out!) and pens! i can never find a pen! ;)

This is my desk:

And my chair. The covering is worn through and the foam is exposed, which is why the chair is wearing a sheepskin. It is one of the things I am planning to replace before next march.

just clicking on the desk photo that DobrijZmej helped with, makes it large, i can see your desk in all its glory! and very nice to, although i think your sheep chair is my fav :)

I coded mainframes for 18 years without all this Sh5*6&T.
Internet is not my friend.
I like mainframes.

Do not worry, I hope other forum visitors can click on the picture in my post, and see the version in the original resolution.

A chair with a fur cape looks very attractive.

But the mouse with an unusual rug - strange.
And the monitor on legs =)

EDIT: And my wife liked your curtains on the windows =)

That's no fridge. It's a PC case... Fractal Design Define R4, if I'm not mistaken. I've got it in black. Excellent case, but very big and rather heavy. The panels are fairly thick steel and soundproofed with a material containing bitumen, meaning a single side panel weighs about the same as a £12 cheapo case.

Photo coming soon :)

The mouse mat has a round support for the wrist filled with silicon gel (yes like breast implants), and it moves around, so you can use you arm or your wrist to move the mouse. It's an anti RSI mouse mat :D

You've got a good eye. It is, indeed, Fractal Design Define R4. I love the case for it's soundproofing and looks, but it is too big to sit on the desk (makes the desk seem smaller than it is).

The gun is real, though... not! Only a replica... :/
