Thanks Slopey, I've reeealy missed the BPC lately. I decided to do a bit of bounty hunting while you got it sorted out, Naaa not for me, I'm a trader through and through :D

On a side note my combat skill have improved, so watch out pirates, i'm not the pushover I was :)

For me the 'Current' button doesnt work.
(I've enabled verbose logging, and my current system shows nicely in the bottom left corner).

Does it work for you guys?

Thanks Slopey! I don't find trial and error trading fun at all, I think its stupid, as if in 3300 you wouldnt have immediate access to commodities data at your finger tips.

In other news, CSV importing is ready to go (just need to prod seeebek about something), and EDDM updating will be added in due course (nobody seems to be using it at the moment, but Wolvie is excited as usual ;)).

Listen bub, the "The Ol' Canucklehead" doesn't like this. Its Logan, Patch or even James Howlett (real name). Wolvie is reserved for friends ;-)

EDDN (not EDDM) - Elite Dangerous Data Network - has been in development under the radar for a few weeks. Jamesremuscat (author EDDN) announced the Alpha version yesterday afternoon. That could explain "why nobody seems to be using it at the moment". Though so far one commander has experimented with it - since yesterday. I'm sure/hopeful that more will follow. VERY exited btw that EDDN support will be added in the future. OCR, import into the BPC (and others) and EDDN --> we have our "precious" back (prices). Very much appreciated for adding EDDN support to the BPC!!

Edit: For those who don't know the Wolverine comics, the above is wolverine speak. So tongue in cheek.

So what I see displayed with default settings, is the most recent of whats in my local database and your db at the server?

That's a bug, and I'll fix it in the next version. It works on the System tab, it's just the BPC tab it's not working on.

Yes - if auto-update is ON, then the BPC will grab the last 72 hours (max) from the server and put it in your database. If you only want YOUR data showing, you need to untick "Auto-Update", and then clear your database from the button in the options page. That'll remove all the data from the database, and only items you personally add will be shown going forward.

You need to find the AppConfig.xml file (in the directory above the Logs directory), and add this line under the <Network line:

That'll do it.

I have added verbose logging to my system and

VerboseLogging="1"
ReportSentLetters="1"
ReportReceivedLetters="1"

in the correct place (there are now logs in the log file folder) however its still saying "Unknown" what am i doing wrong?!?! heh...

Ignore me! I just found my mistake! I have corrected it now... and I am up and running :D

(The path was wrong in BPC)
