[RELEASE] Slopey's BPC Market Tool! - New version!

Hi Slopey,

I see others have had issues importing from EliteOCR csv files and got it to work but I can't seem to get it to work on my PC. I have the latest versions of both (EliteOCR.0.3.5.1 and BPC 4.0.0.1). The CSV from OCR has both the system and station names (eg, System = Lave / Station = Lave Station). When I try to load the CSV I get an error "Unable to parse the CSV file - Is it in the correct format?"

As far as I can see it looks OK so a bit stuck on what to try next. The log file path in OCR is pointing to is :

\AppData\Local\Frontier_Developments\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1001\Logs

Which is the same in BPC.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

No idea - send your CSV file to me at slopey@slopey.com and I'll take a look, but if it's an EliteOCR thing, I can't help with it.

Haven't got around to using this software yet, as I'm a noob. Gave it a +1, as this is just the kind of thing I know I will need once I work out what the hell I'm doing

Is there any way to delete systems from the database? When I was figuring out how to use this and EliteOCR earlier, I accidentally put in CPC 22 212 as "CP 22 212".

I'll clear that one down for you. But data will drop off the dump after 72 hours, but it will persist in your own database on your machine. I'm going to add some culling options to that, but for now, go to options, clear your database, and force an update and that'll clear it. But give me 10 mins or so to clear it down.

EDIT - I've cleared it, please re-enter it properly next time you're past that way

Those aren't CSV files, they're XLSX. Try Exporting as CSV from EliteOCR.

Doh!!

Saved them as CSV and I don't get an error, but I also don't get anything else... I fill in the station name, click load from CSV and nothing happens... I've sent you the CSV...

Isn't the EliteOCR -> BPC "Domestic Appliances" bug at your end Slopey? Someone wrote earlier it's fixed with EliteOCR 3.5.1, but it's not.

My BPC started working for some odd reason - only gripe I got now is the "Dom. Appliances" listing in BPC, while in the game and thus Elite OCR it's "Domestic Appliances".

It was Dom. Appliances in EliteOCR I thought - I changed it from Domestic to Dom. I'll change it back.

I don't have time to be chasing the EliteOCR values - so I'll leave them to settle then I'll look at importing the data.

Hi,

I'm getting an error message, that Domestic Appliances can't be found, when importing a CSV file.
Maybe because it's in your tool as Dom. Appliances?

It was, but he's having us delete commodities.json in order to fix the mis-matched Non-lethal Weapons, which also changes the Dom. Appliances to the full Domestic Appliances.

Ahhhhh! It was you! I nearly logged a ticket when I couldn't find CP 22 212 in the Galaxy map!

I'd highly suggest setting names to match what's in game, and let other tools do the same.

Is there a way to add / fix systems in the tool? There are some errors - For instance, Shinrarta Dezhra shows a distance of 0 to every system, and there's also a system called Shinrarta's (explicit word for rear end)
